Direct power zoom w/ variable zoom speed control
The NEX-VG30 was built with an all new powered zoom seesaw lever for variable and constant
speed electronic zooming. The easily accessible lever supports 2x digital zoom that can be used
with both variable and xed focal length lenses.
XGA OLED Tru-Finder™ EVF w/ eye sensor
There’s never been anything quite like the Tru-Finder™ OLED electronic viewnder. For size, speed
and brightness even aer sunset, this is a gem. It begins with 2359K dots for amazing resolution
and high contrast ratio for incredible depth. OLED reduces motion blur to a bare minimum. You
can also see the results of camera adjustments in real time with superb color and detail.
Quad Capsule Spatial Array Stereo Microphone
High quality video requires high quality audio. The Quad Capsule Spatial Array stereo
microphone contains four precision placed microphone capsules that are perfectly angled at 45
degrees to provide exceptional front-side directivity and stereo separation.
Mic/Headphone jacks
Dedicated mic and headphone inputs allow for attachment of external microphones (like
shotgun microphone ECM-CG50 for pin point sound recording) and headphones to monitor
sound.

Using the LA-EA2 adaptor with translucent mirror technology and a built-in AF motor (sold
separately), you can attach the full selection of A- and E-mount system lenses, which includes
all current models, dozens of Minolta A-mount lenses, and an installed base of millions of lenses

Comprehensive Manual Control
Aperture priority, shutter speed priority or manual exposure control can all be accessed while
shooting video via a control dial or easy-access buttons. With extensive manual control of Iris,

AF/MF switch for creative control
Whether you’re shooting video or still images the attached lens will auto focus quietly and
quickly, however if you want to utilize MF, this simple switch will put you in the driver’s seat.
Anti-Dust Technology
Anti-Dust Technology helps keep the CMOS sensor clean, resulting in consistently clear
pictures. First a static-free coating on the sensor's low-pass lter helps repel dust. Then vibration
automatically dislodges dust from the sensor, especially when you're changing lenses in-between
video sessions.
Removable Flash Media slot
For convenient storage and sharing of your images and videos, the media card slot accepts
Memory Stick Duo™ / Memory Stick PRO Duo™ / Memory Stick PRO-HG Duo™ media and SD/
