Wearing the headphones

Wear the earpiece marked R in your right ear and the one marked L in your left ear.

How to use the holder

Store the housing part as in illustration A. It prevents the cord from becoming tangled if you store the ear receiver connected to a device such as WALKMAN®* in your pouch or bag. When using the headphones, you can adjust the cord length by winding the cord around the holder, as in illustration B.

How to install the earbuds correctly (see fig. C)

If the earbuds do not fit your ears correctly, low-bass sound may not be heard. To enjoy better sound quality, change the earbuds to another size, or adjust the earbuds position to sit on your ears comfortably and fit your ears snugly. The M size earbuds are attached to the headphones before shipment. If you feel the M size earbuds do not suit your ears, replace them with the supplied S or L size earbuds. When you change the earbuds, install them firmly on the headphones to prevent the earbud from detaching and remaining in your ear.

Cleaning the earbuds

Remove the earbuds from the headphones, and wash them with a mild detergent solution.

Precautions

• Please keep your headphones clean at all times especially inside the rubber earbud (see

fig. D). If any dust or ear wax inside the earbud, you may experience some listening difficulties.

• Listening with headphones at high volume may affect your hearing. For traffic safety, do not use while driving or cycling.

• Do not put weight or pressure on the headphones as it may cause the headphones to deform during long storage.

•The earbuds may deteriorate due to long-term storage or use.

• Install the earbuds firmly onto the headphones. If an earbud accidentally detaches and is left in your ear, it may cause injury.

There is EP-EX1 available (sold separately) as an optional replacement earbuds.

Utilización del dispositivo anti-enredos

Instalación correcta de los adaptadores (consulte la fig. C)

Si los adaptadores no se ajustan a los oídos correctamente, es posible que no pueda oír los sonidos graves. A fin de escuchar un sonido de mejor calidad, cambie los adaptadores por unos de otra talla o ajuste su posición para que le resulten cómodos y se adapten perfectamente a los oídos. Las almohadillas que se sirven de fábrica son de tamaño M. Si este tamaño no es el adecuado para usted, sustitúyalas por las de tamaño S o L suministradas. Cuando cambie los adaptadores, colóquelos firmemente en los auriculares para evitar que se suelten y se le queden en los oídos.

Limpieza de los adaptadores

Extraiga los adaptadores de los auriculares y límpielos con una solución de detergente neutro.

Precauciones

• Mantenga los auriculares limpios en todo momento, en especial la parte interior del adaptador de goma (consulte la fig. D). Si se acumula polvo o cerumen en el auricular, es posible que experimente problemas de audición.

• Si utiliza los auriculares a un volumen alto, puede dañar sus oídos. Por razones de seguridad, no los utilice mientras conduzca o vaya en bicicleta.

• No someta los auriculares a peso o presión, ya que se pueden deformar en períodos de almacenamiento prolongado en estas condiciones.

• Los adaptadores pueden deteriorarse debido a un almacenamiento o uso prolongados.

• Coloque con firmeza los adaptadores en los auriculares. Si un adaptador se soltara accidentalmente y se le quedara en el oído, podría provocar lesiones.

El modelo EP-EX1 se encuentra disponible (se vende por separado) como adaptador de recambio opcional.
