ランプについての安
全上のご注意
プロジェクターランプ LMP-H400 は、キセノンランプです。キセノンラ ンプには、次のような特性がありま す。 ･ 衝撃や、使用時間の経過による劣化な
どにより大きな音をともなって破裂 したり、不点灯となって寿命が尽きる ことがあります。
･ 個体差や使用条件によって、寿命にバ
ラツキがあります。
･ 交換時期を越えると、破裂、不点灯や
チラつきの発生の可能性が高くなり ます。 プロジェクターに「ランプ／フィル ターを交換してください」というメッ セージが表示されたときには、ランプ が正常に点灯している場合でも速や かに新しいランプと交換してくださ い。

下記の注意事項を守らないと、破 裂・発熱・液漏れにより、
死亡
や大けがなどの人身事故になる ことがあります。
ランプ交換はランプが充分に冷えて から行う
電源を切った直後はランプ が高温になっており、さわる とやけどの原因となること があります。ランプ交換の際 は、電源を切ってから 1 時間 以上たって、充分にランプが 冷えてから行ってください。
他の製品に使用しない
このプロジェクターランプ は、ソニープロジェクター用 の交換ランプです。他の製品 には絶対にお使いにならな いでください。火災や故障な どの原因になります。

ランプについての安全上のご注意

ランプの分解や改造をしない
ランプを分解・改造して使用 すると火災や感電の原因と なります。
ランプ交換の際はプラグをコンセン トから抜く
ランプを交換する前に必ず 電源を切り、電源プラグをコ ンセントから抜いてくださ い。感電の原因となります。
破裂
下記の注意事項を守らないと、
けがをしたり周辺の物品に損 害を与えることがあります。
ランプの収納部に異物を入れない
ランプを抜いた後のランプ の収納部に金属類や燃えや すい物などの異物を入れな いでください。火災や感電の 原因となります。
ランプが破裂したときはすぐに交換 を依頼する
ランプが破裂した際には、プ ロジェクター内部やランプ ハウス内に破片が飛散して いる可能性があります。 ソ
ニーの相談窓口にランプの 交換と内部の点検を依頼し
てください。また、排気口よ りガスや粉じんが出たりす ることがあります。 速やかに医師にご相談くだ さい。
ランプの重量についての注意
ランプは重いので（約 2.9 kg）取り扱いには、十分ご注 意ください。

プロジェクターランプについて

プロジェクターランプ LMP-H400 は、ソニープロジェクターの交換用ラ ンプです｡ お使いになる前に､お手持ちのプロジェ クターの取扱説明書をご覧になり、こ のランプが使用できるかを必ず確認し てください。 また、LMP-H400 には、エアフィル ターが付属されています。 ランプを交換するときは､フィルターも 必ず一緒に交換してください。

ランプの交換のしかた

下記はすべて、プロジェクターを床､机 などにに設置した状態でランプを交換 する場合をしめしています。
天井つりした状態でのランプ交換は十 分注意してください。
1 プロジェクターの電源を切り、電
源コードをコンセントから抜く。
2 プロジェクターや机などに傷がつ
かないよう布などを敷き、その上 にプロジェクターを置く。
ご注意
プロジェクターは不安定な場所には置 かないでください。
◆フィルターの交換については、「エアフィ ルター」(10 ページ ) をご覧ください。
電源を切った直後はランプが高温になっ ており、さわるとやけどの原因となるこ とがあります。ランプを充分に冷やすた め、ランプ交換は、プロジェクターの電 源を切ってから 1 時間以上たってから 行ってください。交換ランプのガラス面 は触らないでください。もし汚れが付着 した場合は乾いた柔かい布でふき取って ください。

し上げながら､トップカバーを止 まるまでスライドさせる。

4 ランプカバーを固定しているネジ
（1 本）をプラスドライバーでゆ
るめ、ランプカバーを開ける。

ご注意
ランプ交換には、軸の長さ 130mm 以上のプラスドライバーをお使いくだ さい。
5 バルブキャップをはずし (1)、プ
ラスドライバーで､ガス抜きバル ブを右に回す (2)｡
ご注意
シューという音がするまでガス抜きバ ルブを回してください。 この音が止まってから､次に進んでく ださい。 ランプの内部にはキセノンガスが高圧 で封入されています。キセノンガスそ のものは無臭、無毒ですが、ガス抜き を行わないでランプを落下させたり衝 撃を与えたりすると破裂して、けがの 原因になります。
6 ランプユニットを固定しているネ
ジ（4 本）をプラスドライバーで ゆるめる。

リリースレバーを矢印の方向に
（右方向に）押しながら､ランプユ
ニットをまっすぐに引き出す｡

ご注意
･ ランプユニットは重い（約 2.9kg）
のでしっかり持ってください。落と すとけがの原因となったり、プロ ジェクターの内部を壊す原因となり ます。
･ ファンや光学ブロックには手をふれ
ないでください。
･ ランプリリースレバーが元の位置に
戻っていることを確認してください。 戻っていないと電源が入りません。
ご注意
ランプユニットは重い（約 2.9kg） のでしっかり持ってください。落とす とけがの原因となったり、プロジェク ターの内部を壊す原因となります。
8 新しいランプユニットをカチッと
音がするまで、まっすぐに押し込 む｡
9 手順 6 でゆるめたネジ 4 本で、新
しいランプユニットをプロジェク ターに固定する｡
10ランプカバーを閉め、手順 4 でゆ
るめたネジでランプカバーを固定 する。

11トップカバーを閉める｡
12電源コードを接続し、プロジェク
ターをスタンバイ状態にする。
ON/STANDBY ランプが赤色点灯 状態であることを確認してくださ い。
13リモコンを本体に向けて、リモコ
ンのボタンを、RESET ボタン、 < ボタン、, ボタン、ENTER ボタンの順に、それぞれ 5 秒以 内に押す。

エアフィルター

エアフィルターについて

ランプを交換するときは､必ずランプに 付属しているエアフィルターも交換し てください。

エアフィルターの交換のしかた

ご注意
エアフィルターを取りはずすとき、本体 内部にゴミなどが入らないよう充分ご注 意ください。
天井つりでご使用のためプロジェク ターにエアフィルターカバーが取り つけられている場合は、フィルター ホルダーをはずす前にエアフィル ターカバーをはずしてください。
4 エアフィルターをとりはずす。

ご注意
フィルターホルダーは、フックを押して
「カチッ」と音がするまで確実に取り付け
てください。フィルターホルダーがしっ かり取り付けられていないと、電源が入 りません。

Projector Lamp

About the Projector Lamp

The LMP-H400 Projector Lamp is designed for use with the Sony projector. Be sure to confirm that this lamp is usable with your projector before using it by reading the Operating Instructions supplied with the projector. Also, the air filter is supplied with the LMP­H400 Projector Lamp. When you replace the lamp, it is also time to replace the air filter. Whenever you replace the lamp, be sure to replace the air filter with a new one. For detailed information on how to replace the filter, see “Air Filter” on page 5.
Caution
• The lamp remains hot after the projector is turned off. If you touch the lamp, you may burn your fingers. When you replace the lamp, turn off the projector, then unplug the power cord. Wait for at least an hour for the lamp to cool.
• Do not touch the surface of the lens. If you touch it, wipe off the fingerprints with a soft cloth.
3 While holding up the cover

4 Loosen the screw on the lamp
cover with a Philips screwdriver, and then open the lamp cover.

Replacing the Projector Lamp

The illustrations below show the case of replacing the lamp with the projector installed on the floor or desk.
Pay special attention to replacing the lamp when the projector is installed on the ceiling.
1 Turn off the projector and unplug
the AC power cord.
2 Place a protective sheet (cloth)
beneath the projector.
Note
Be sure that the projector is placed on a stable surface.

Be sure to use a Philips screwdriver with a shaft length of 130 mm (5 more when replacing a projector lamp.

5 Remove the valve cap (1), then
turn the gas releasing valve fully clockwise, using a Philips screwdriver (2).

Note
Turn the gas releasing valve clockwise until a hissing sound comes out from the valve. After this hissing sound stops, go to the next step. Xenon gas is encapsulated under high pressure inside of the lamp. This xenon gas is odorless and halmless. However, if you drop the lamp or strike it without releasing gas, the lamp may burst. This may result in an injury.
6 Loosen the four screws on the
lamp unit with a Philips screwdriver.
7 Hold the lamp unit with your hand,
and then, pushing the lamp release lever toward the arrow direction (toward the right), pull the lamp unit straight out.

Note
Hold the lamp unit tightly so that you do not drop it, because it is heavy (approx.
2.9 kg (6 lb 6 oz)). Dropping the lamp may result in an injury or a breakdown of the projector.

8 Insert the new lamp unit straight
in all the way until it is securely in place and you hear it click.
Notes
• Insert the new lamp unit while holding it tightly, because it is heavy (approx.
2.9 kg (6 lb 6 oz)). Dropping the lamp may result in an injury.
• Be careful not to touch the fan or optical block inside the unit.
• Confirm that the lamp release lever has returned to its original position. If not, the projector will not turn on.
9 Tighten the four screws loosened
in step 6 to secure the lamp unit to the projector.
10Tighten the screw loosened in
step 4 to close the lamp cover.
11Close the top cover.
12Connect the power cord and set
the projector to standby mode.
Confirm that the ON/STANDBY indicator is lit in red.
13Pointing the remote control at the
projector, press the following buttons on the remote control in the following order for less than five seconds each: RESET, <, ,, ENTER.

Caution
Do not put your hands into the lamp replacement slot, and do not allow any liquid or other objects into the slot to avoid electrical shock or fire.
Notes
• The projector will not turn on unless the lamp is securely installed in place.
• The projector will not turn on unless the top cover and the lamp cover are securely closed.
