3D Digital Comb Filter
Sony’s premier comb filter design compares each horizontal scanning line with the
lines above and below and with the corresponding line on the previous subsequent
video frames. The benefit: reduction in video noise.
DynaBlack™ Picture Enhancement
Is composed of two basic elements,: (1) “Dyna” & (2) Black. Dyna refers to transient
improvement and acts to sharpen the black/white transition. Black refers to black level
expansion-which pulls black lower without affecting the overall picture, leading to
improved contrast.
ClearEdge VM™ Wideband Velocity Modulation
Doubles velocity modulation to take full advantage of higher frequency sources such
as DVD and DSS. This patented technology creates clean crisp sedge detail and a better overall image on screen.
High Voltage Regulator
High Voltage Regulator pulls the electrons to the screen more intensely providing better focus and brightness. The High Voltage Regulator provides +30% brightness
improvement, +30% reduction in beam spot size (better focus) and improved geometry (reduced distortion).
WOW™ Audio Effect
An audio circuit technology that improves both the low, and mid-level frequency
responses. this feature, combined with BBE® technology (for further audio improvement), Dynamic Acoustic Chamber Speaker Enclosures (for better bass), and the subwoofer (on 27-36" FV models), results in noticeable audio improvement in this series.
