Limited Warranty

For Rechargeabie Batteries and Battery Chargers

Sony Magnetic Products Inc. of America and Sony of Canada Ltd. (in Canada)
(“Sony”) warrants this product (“Product”) against defects in material or workman
ship. For one (1) year from the date of original purchase, Sony will replace the
Product at no charge or at Sony’s option, refund the purchase price shown on your
receipt. To obtain warranty sen/ice in the U.S. or Canada piease call
for the address to which to send the Product, postage prepaid.

REPU\CEMENT OR REFUND OF THiS PRODUCT AS PROVIDED UNDER THIS
LIMITED WARRANTY SHALL BE THE EXCLUSIVE REMEDY OF THE CONSUMER.
SONY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGES, INCLUDING
CONSEQUENTIAL, CHANGES, ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF, OR INABILITY TO
USE THE PRODUCT OR FOR BREACH OF ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED
WARRANTY OR CONDITION ON THIS PRODUCT. EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT
PROHIBITED BY U\W, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OF
MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTIOUU\R PURPOSE ARE LIMITED
IN DURATION TO THE DURATION OF THIS WARRANTY.

or condition iasts or exciusions or limitations of consequential or incidental
damages, so the above limitations or exciusions may not appiy to you. This
warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which

territory in Oanada.
