Windows NT 4.0 Support
Outline
BKV-100 software operates on the Windows NT4.0 in
much the same case with the Windows NT3.51 like as the
descriptions of the installation manual.
This supplemet describes the essence of procedures to
install the device driver to the PC with Windows NT4.0.
The installation procedure of the BKV-100 on the Windows NT4.0 is in much the same procedure on the Windows NT3.51 with the exception of the display defference.
Please read the both of the installation manual and this
supplement to confirm the differece of the installation
procedure between the Version 4.0 and 3.51 before starting
the installation.
Preparation
1. Click the “Start” button and point to the “Settings”
from the “Start” menu with a mouse.
2. Click the “Control Panel” from the “Settings” menu.
→The “Control Panel” window appears.
3. Double click the “Display” icon in the “Control Panel”
window.
→The “Display Properties” dialog box appears.
4. Click the “Settings” tab in the “Display Properties”
dialog box.
Check the refresh frequency on the “Refresh Frequency”
field in the “Display Settings” dialog box. The checking
approarches are as in the case of Windows NT3.51. For
details, refer to the preparation step 4 (with fig. 3) in “4.
Installation of Device Driver” of the installation manual.
Installation Procedures
1. Exit from all applications
2. Insert the floppy disk (supplied) in which the device
driver is stored into the floppy disk drive of PC.
3. Double click the “Multimedia” icon in the “Control
Panel” window.
→The “Multimedia Properties” dialog box appears.
4. Click the “Devices” tab in the “Multimedia Properties”
dialog box.
5. Click the “Add” button.
→The “Add” dialog box appears.
The display of the “Add” dialog box and the remainder of
the operating procedures are as in the case of Windows
NT3.51. Install the device driver according to the display
with referring to the installation step 3 (with fig.5) and the
remainders in “4. Installation of Device Driver” of the
installation manual.
Starting BKV-100.EXE
1. Click the “Start” button.
2. Click the “Run” from the “Start” menu.
→The “Run” dialog box appears.
The display of the “Run” dialog box and the remainder of
the operating procedures are as in the case of Windows
NT3.51. Operate the device driver according to the display
with referring to the step 3 (with fig.16) and the remainders
in “6-1.Starting BKV100.EXE” of the installation manual.
