Displaying the Caption Vision

When the BKM-104 is installed, the “CAPTION VISION” menu is
added to the monitor. To display the Caption Vision, operate the
monitor as follows:

1 Press the MENU/EXIT button on the monitor.

“MENU 1” will appear.

This instruction manual explains how to operate your
monitor when the BKM-104 is installed.
For installation of the BKM-104, consult your nearest Sony
dealer.

Before operating the unit, please read this manual
thoroughly and retain it for future reference.

2 Display “MENU 2” or “MENU 3” depending on the monitor by

selecting “NEXT PAGE” on the menu and pressing the ENTER
button.

The “CAPTION VISION” item will appear on “MENU 2.”

The “CAPTION VISION” item will appear on “MENU 3.”

3 Select “CAPTION VISION” by pressing the . or > button and

press the ENTER button.
The “CAPTION V.” (Caption Vision) menu will appear.

4 Select the caption type you want to display by pressing the . or

> button, and press the MENU/EXIT button.

The display will return to “MENU 2” or “MENU 3,” whichever
was previously displayed.

To turn off the capitons or text

Repeat steps 1 to 4 above and select “OFF” on the “CAPTION V.”
menu.

For customers in Canada
This Class A digital apparatus meets all requirements of the
Canadian Interference-Causing Equipment Regulations.

Features

• The BKM-104 Caption Vision Board allows you to display the
Caption Vision on the monitor screen. Although there are different
Caption Vision broadcasts in the world, this board accepts the
Caption Vision broadcast in the United States or Canada only.

• Using this board, you can select the caption type among four:
CAPTION 1, CAPTION 2, TEXT 1 and TEXT 2.

Affichage des sous-titres

Lorsque la carte BKM-104 est installée, le menu “SOUS-TITRAGE”
est ajouté au moniteur. Pour afficher les sous-titres, réglez le moniteur
comme suit :

1 Appuyez sur la touche MENU/EXIT du moniteur.

L’indication “MENU 1” apparaît.

Le présent mode d’emploi vous explique comment
exploiter votre moniteur lorsque la carte BKM-104 est
installée.
Pour l’installation de la carte BKM-104, consultez votre
revendeur Sony.

Avant de faire fonctionner cet appareil, lisez attentivement le
présent mode d’emploi et conservez-le pour toute référence
ultérieure.

AVERTISSEMENT

pluie et de l’humidité.

2 Affichez “MENU 2” ou “MENU 3” suivant le moniteur en

sélectionnant “PAGE SUIVANTE” dans le menu et en appuyant
sur la touche ENTER.

Le paramètre “SOUS-TITRAGE” apparaît dans le “MENU 2”.

Le paramètre “SOUS-TITRAGE” apparaît dans le “MENU 3”.

3 Sélectionnez “SOUS-TITRAGE” en appuyant sur la touche . ou

> et appuyez ensuite sur ENTER.

Le menu “SOUS-TITRAGE” apparaît.

Pour les utilisateurs au Canada

Cet appareil numérique de la classe A respecte toutes les
exigences du Règlement sur le matériel brouilleur du Canada.

Caractéristiques

• La carte de visualisation de sous-titres BKM-104 vous permet

d’afficher des sous-titres sur l’écran du moniteur. Bien que différents
types de sous-titres soient diffusés dans le monde, cette carte accepte
uniquement les sous-titres diffusés aux Etats-Unis et au Canada.

• Vous pouvez sélectionner à l’aide de cette carte le type de sous-titres

parmi : SOUS-TITRAGE 1, SOUS-TITRAGE 2, TEXTE 1 et
TEXTE 2.

4 Sélectionnez le type de sous-titres que vous voulez afficher en

appuyant sur la touche . ou > et appuyez ensuite sur MENU/
EXIT.
L’écran revient au “MENU 2” ou “MENU 3” suivant celui qui
était affiché précédemment.

Pour désactiver l’affichage des sous-titres

Répétez les étapes 1 à 4 ci-dessus et sélectionnez “NON” dans le
menu “SOUS-TITRAGE” .
