1.1 General safety warnings
Injury to persons
• This appliance and its accessible
parts get very hot during use. Do
not touch the heating elements
during use.
• Protect your hands by wearing
oven gloves when moving food
inside the oven.
• Never attempt to extinguish
flames/fire with water. Turn off the
appliance and cover the flame
with a lid or a fire-proof blanket.
• The use of this appliance by
children who are 8 years of age
or older and by persons with
reduced physical, sensory or
mental abilities or who lack
experience and knowledge is
permitted when supervised or
given instructions by adults
responsible for their safety.
• Children should not play with the
appliance.
• Keep children under the age of 8
at a safe distance unless they are
constantly supervised.
• Do not allow children of less than
8 years of age approach the
appliance during operation.
• Cleaning and maintenance should
not be performed by children
without supervision.
• Cooking process should always
be kept under control. A short
cooking process must be
continuously surveyed.
• Do not cook dishes containing
large quantities of strong alcoholic
beverages. Alcohol vapors in the
oven could catch fire.
• Never leave the appliance
unattended during cooking
operations where fats or oils could
overheat and take fire. Be very
careful.
• Do not insert sharp metal objects
(knives and utensils) into the slots.
• Do not pour water directly on very
hot trays.
• Keep the door closed while
cooking or baking.

• If you need to move food or at the
end of cooking, open the door

• If the power cord is damaged,
immediately contact the technical
support service to replace the
cord.
Damage to the appliance
• Do not use abrasive or corrosive
detergents on the glass parts
(e.g. powder products, stain
removers or metal scouring pads).
If possible, use wooden or plastic
utensils.
• Do not use cleaning products
containing chlorine, ammonia or
bleach on the steel parts or those
with metallic surface finishes
(e.g. anodizing, nickel or chrome
plating).

materials or sharp metal scrapers.
• Racks and trays should be inserted
as far as they will go into the side
guides. The mechanical safety
locks that prevent them from being
removed must face downwards
and towards the back of the oven.
• Do not sit on the appliance.
• Do not use steam jets to clean the
appliance.
• Do not block openings, ventilation
slots and heat dissipation vents.
• Do not leave anything on the
baking surfaces.
• DO NOT USE THE APPLIANCE
TO HEAT ROOMS FOR ANY
REASON.
• Do not use plastic dishes or
containers for cooking or baking
food.
• Do not place sealed tins or
containers in the oven cavity.
• Remove all trays and racks which
are not required during cooking.
• Do not cover the bottom of the
oven with sheets of aluminum or tin
foil.
• Do not place pots or pans directly
on the bottom of the oven.
• If you wish to use greaseproof
paper, place it so that it will not
interfere with the hot air circulation
inside the oven.
• Do not use the open door to place
pans or trays on the internal
glazing pane.
• Do not use the open door as a
lever to move the appliance into
place.
• Do not apply excessive pressure
to the door when it is open.
• Do not use the handle to lift or
move this appliance.
Installation and maintenance
• THIS APPLIANCE MUST NOT BE
INSTALLED IN A BOAT OR
CARAVAN.
• This appliance must not be
installed on a pedestal.
• Move the appliance into the
desired position with the help of a
second person.

• To prevent any possible
overheating, the appliance should
not be installed behind a
decoration door or a panel.
• Qualified personnel should carry
out the installation and servicing in
compliance with existing
regulations.
• Have the gas connection
performed by authorized staff.
• Installation using a hose must be
carried out so that the length of the
hose does not exceed 2 meters
when fully extended for steel hoses
and 1.5 meters for rubber hoses.
• Hoses should not come into
contact with moving parts and
should not be crushed.
• Where required, use a pressure
regulator that complies with
current regulations.
• A qualified technician must
complete the electrical
connection.
• The ground connection must be
completed in the manner indicated
in the regulations on electric
installations.
• Use cables withstanding a
temperature of at least 90 °C.
• The tightening torque of the screws
of the terminal board leads must
be 1.5 - 2 Nm.
For this appliance
• Before replacing the light bulb,
make sure the appliance is turned
off.
• Do not lean or sit on the door
when it is open.
• Make sure that no objects are
stuck in the doors.
• After carrying out any operation,
check that the tightening torque of
gas connections is between
10 Nm and 15 Nm.
• After installation is complete,
check for any leaks with a soapy
solution, never with a flame.

1.2 Purpose of the appliance
• This appliance is designed for
cooking or baking food in the
home. Any other use is
inappropriate.
• This appliance is not designed to
work with external timers or remote
control systems.
1.3 Manufacturer's liability
The manufacturer accepts no liability
for damage to persons or property

• use of the appliance in any way
other than stipulated herein;
• failure to comply with the

• tampering with any part of the

1.5 Identification plate
The identification plate contains
technical data, the serial number and
brand name of the appliance. The
identification plate should never be
removed.

separately from other waste
(Directives 2002/95/EC,
2002/96/EC, 2003/108/EC). This
appliance does not contain substances in
quantities considered to be hazardous to
health and the environment, in accordance
with current European directives.
To dispose of the appliance:
• Cut the power supply cable and remove
the cable together with the plug.

The oven’s various functions are suitable for

4 Temperature knob
This turns the lower burner on. The cooking
temperature is selected by turning the knob
anticlockwise to the required setting,
between MIN and MAX.
As an alternative, it switches on the upper
burner or the grill element (depending on
the models).
2.3 Other parts
Internal lighting
The internal light of the appliance comes on
when the function knob is turned
Positioning shelves
The appliance has shelves for positioning
trays and racks at various heights. The
position heights go from the bottom
upwards (see 2.1 General description).
Cooling fan
The fan cools the appliance and comes into
operation during cooking.
The fan provides a steady outflow of air
from above the door, which may continue
for a short time after the appliance has
been turned off.

Used to hold containers containing food to

Tray
Used for collecting grease from foods on

inside the oven.

• Do not allow children to approach the
appliance when it is in operation.
• If you need to move food or at the end
of cooking, open the door 5 cm for a
few seconds, let the steam come out,
then open it fully.
Improper use

• Do not cover the bottom of the oven with
sheets of aluminum or tin foil.
• If you wish to use greaseproof paper,
place it so that it will not interfere with the
hot air circulation inside the oven cavity.
• Do not place pots or pans directly on

trays.

A gas leak can cause an explosion.
If you smell gas or there are faults in the gas
system:
• Immediately turn off the gas supply or
close the valve on the gas cylinder.
• Extinguish all open flames and
cigarettes.
• Do not turn on power switches or
appliances and do not remove plugs
from power sockets. Do not use phones
or mobile phones inside the building.
• Open the window in order to ventilate
the room.
• Call customer assistance services or your
gas supplier.
Malfunctions
Any of the following indicate a malfunction
and you should contact a service center.
• Damage to kitchen utensils.
• The burners do not ignite properly.
• It is difficult to keep the burners lit.
• The burners go out when the appliance
is in use.
• It is difficult to turn the gas valves.
If the appliance does not work properly,
contact your local Authorized Service
Center.
3.2 First use
1. Remove all protective film from the
outside and inside of the appliance and
accessories.
2. Remove all labels (except the nameplate
with technical data) from the inside of the
oven and accessories.
3. Remove and wash all accessories of the
appliance (see 4 Cleaning and
maintenance).
4. Heat the empty oven at the maximum
temperature to burn off any residues left
by the manufacturing process.
3.3 Use of accessories
Racks and trays
Racks and trays must be inserted into the
side guides until they stop.
• The mechanical safety locks that prevent
accidental removal of the racks must
face downward and towards the rear of
the oven.
Gently insert racks and trays into
the oven until they come to a stop.
