Draft 11N Wireless 3G Mobile Broadband Router

Designed for both home and office use, the Wireless Barricade™ N Router
(SMCWBR14-3GN) is an all-in-one networking solution for connecting and sharing
mobile 3G Internet connections to allow instant Internet access and sharing in areas
that do not support DSL/Cable connections or for those out on the road. It supports a
wireless 3G USB Modem (not included) for primary or secondary WAN connectivity with
auto-failover to ensure an always-on connection, should the xDSL/ Cable Internet
services fail. With a built-in 802.11n-draft 2.0 wireless access point, it is capable of data
transfer rates of up to 300Mbps - up to 25-times the rate of standard 802.11b devices ­and is compatible with legacy 802.11 b/g equipment. With security being a key
consideration, the router supports the latest WPA2 wireless encryption standard, as
well as Wi-Fi Protected Setup™ (WPS) that enables push button or PIN configuration.

Share your high speed Internet connection

With a built-in 802.11n-draft 2.0 wireless access point,
it is capable of data transfer rates of up to 300Mbps ­up to 15-times the rate of standard 802.11g devices ­and is compatible with legacy 802.11b/g equipment.

Dual WAN Connection with Fail-over

With built-in USB port and also an Ethernet WAN port,
SMCWBR14-3GN provides a unique feature which
allows backup/ fail-over when either one of the WAN
interfaces is down.

Green Wireless

SMCWBR14-3GN is designed to have one push button
to turn wireless signal ON or OFF in case u sers decide
to stop wireless signal transmission for a while,
reducing the hassle to access the WEB UI to disable
wireless transmission.

Advanced Wireless Security

With security being a key consideration, the
router supports the latest WPA2 wireless encryption
standard, as well as Wi-Fi Protected Setup™ (WPS)
that enables push button or PIN configuration.

Dual SSID Radio Channel

SMCWBR14-3GN supports two SSID’s; one for regular
wireless clients, and the other for designated usage to
ensure optimal performance and balanced usage for the
Internet.

Easy switch from Router to AP mode

SMCWBR14-3GN is designed with simplicity for users
in mind. It allows to select wireless router or wireless
access point mode by an external slide switch.
