The SMC2602W is an IEEE 802.11b-compliant 2.4GHz 11 Mbps Wireless PCI

Card. It meets the needs of small business and corporate users who require
an 11 Mbps wireless connection to an existing LAN. This adapter features an
operating range of up to 350m, and true plug-and-play installation in all
desktop computers.

The EZ Connect™ 11 Mbps Wireless PCI Card includes an EZ Installation Wizard

that enables quick and easy setup. Simply put the EZ Installation Wizard CD
into your CD-ROM drive, click on Install Driver/Utility Link, the wizard will
perform the installation automatically. Then plug in your EZ Connect Wireless
PCI Card into the desktop computer, you are now ready to enjoy the freedom
of wireless networking.

The SMC2602W EZ Connect Wireless PCI Card operates at up to 350m

and offers high-speed data rate of up to 11 Mbps. This adapter provides a
high level of security by supporting both 64/128-bit WEP encryption and
the new Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA)*. It also supports 802.1x** for user
authentication to ensure only authorized users can access the resources
of the wireless network.Moreover,profile management software allows the
new wireless notebook adapter the ability to save multiple wireless settings
corresponding to different locations or networks. Furthermore, SMC2602W
has a built-in utility program for scanning all available Wireless Access Points
on the network. EZ Connect 2.4GHz Wireless Adapter provides additional
convenience for international travelers by allowing users to select different
countries with available channels corresponding to each regulatory domain.

Combine all of these features and you have a state-of-the-art, technologically
advanced wireless adapter to seamlessly integrate into a new or existing
wireless network.
