Kettle’› ilk kez kullan›yorsan›z; cihaz› kullanmadan önce içini iki kez suyla doldurup suyu kaynat›p dökerek temizlemeniz önerilir. Yüzeyi nemli bir bezle silerek temizleyiniz.

KETTLE’IN ÇALIﬁTIRILMASI

1. Kettle’› doldurmak için güç altl›¤›ndan ay›r›n›z ve kapak açma dü¤mesine basarak

kapa¤› aç›n›z, cihaza istedi¤iniz miktarda su doldurduktan sonra kapa¤› kapat›n›z. Alternatif olarak, kettle’›n a¤›z k›sm›ndan da su doldurabilirsiniz. Su seviyesi MAX iﬂaretli seviyeyi aﬂmamal› ya da MIN iﬂaretli seviyenin alt›na düﬂmemelidir. Cihaza çok az su koyarsan›z kettle, su kaynamadan önce kapan›r. NOT: Kaynama s›ras›nda a¤›zdan su s›çrayabilece¤i için cihaz içerisine su koyarken azami seviyeyi aﬂmay›n›z. Kettle’› prize takmadan önce kapa¤›n s›k›ca kapat›lm›ﬂ oldu¤undan emin olunuz.

2. Cihaz›n d›ﬂ k›sm›n› nemli bir bez yard›m›yla silerek temizleyiniz, kesinlikle zehirli temizlik malzemeleri kullanmay›n›z.

M‹NERAL KALINTILARININ TEM‹ZLENMES‹

Musluk suyunda bulunan mineral kal›nt›lar› kettle’›n taban›nda kireç birikmesine neden olabildi¤i ve cihaz›n daha az verimle çal›ﬂmas›na neden oldu¤u için kettle’›n kirecini düzenli olarak temizlemeniz gerekir. Ticari olarak sat›ﬂ› yap›lan kireç çözücüleri üzerinde yaz›l› olan talimat› uygulayarak kullanabilirsiniz. Alternatif olarak, beyaz sirke kullanarak aﬂa¤›daki talimatlar› da uygulayabilirsiniz.

1. Kettle içerisine 3 su barda¤› beyaz sirke doldurunuz, daha sonra kettle'›n içini tamamen

kaplayacak ﬂekilde su ekleyiniz. Kar›ﬂ›m› kettle içerisinde bir gece bekletiniz.

2. Daha sonra kettle içerisindeki kar›ﬂ›m› dökünüz, kettle içerisinde temiz su doldurup kaynatt›ktan sonra bu suyu da dökünüz. Sirke kokusunu giderene kadar ayn› iﬂlemi birkaç kez tekrarlay›n›z. A¤›z içerisinde kalan lekeler nemli bir bez yard›m›yla ç›kar›labilir.

Read this booklet thoroughly before using and save it for future referance.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

1. Read all instructions before using.

2. Before connecting the kettle to the power supply, check that the voltage indicated on

the appliance (underside the kettle & base) corresponds with the voltage in your home. If this is not the case, contact your dealer and do not use the kettle.

3. Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or counter or touch a hot surface.

4. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner or in a heated oven.

5. Do not operate the appliance without anything in it to avoid damaging the heat elements.

6. Ensure that the kettle is used on a firm and flat surface out of reach of children, this

will prevent the kettle from overturning and prevent damage or injury.

7. To protect against a fire, electric shock or personal injury, do not immerse cord, electric plugs or kettle in water or other liquids.

8. While water is boiling, or just after the water has been boiled, avoid contact with steam from the spout.

9. Always take care to pour boiling water slowly and carefully without tipping the kettle too fast.

10. Be careful of refilling when the kettle is hot.

11. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced

19. Unplug the kettle from the outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow the kettle to cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.

20. To disconnect, turn any control to “off,” then remove plug from wall outlet.

21. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service

agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.

22. Do not use the appliance for other than intended use.

23. The kettle can only be used with the stand provided.

24. If the kettle is overfilled, boiling water may spill out.

25. Always ensure the lid is closed and do not lift it while the water is boiling. Scalding

may occur if the lid is removed during the brewing cycles.

After plugging the power outlet, press the button (accompanied by a short beep) once, the indicators in the fifth zone will flash, following the water temperature is increasing, the indicators from the first zone to the fifth zone will light in order, all the indicators will light once the water is boiling and two beeps will be heard, after one minute, all of them will be extinguished.

2. Tea button (T) (heating water to 90˚C and suitable for infusion of tea)

After plugging the power outlet, press the tea button once (accompanied by a short beep) if you want to heat water to about 90˚C, the indicators in the fourth zone will flash, following the water temperature is increasing, the indicators from the first zone to the

fourth zone will light in order, when the water is heated to about 90˚C, all the indicators from the first zone to the fourth zone will light and two beeps will be heard. After one minute, all of them will be extinguished.

3. Coffee button (C) (heating water to 80˚C and suitable for brewing coffee)

After plugging the power outlet, press the coffee button once (accompanied by a short beep) if you want to heat water to 80˚C, the indicators in the third zone will flash, following the water temperature is increasing, the indicators from the first zone to the third zone will light in order, when the water is heated to 80˚C, all the indicators from the first zone to the third zone will light and two beeps will be heard. After one minute, all of them will be extinguished.

BEFORE USING YOUR KETTLE

If you are using the kettle for the first time, it is recommended that you should clean your kettle before use by boiling a full kettle of water twice and then discarding the water. Wipe the surface with a damp cloth. NOTE: The max capacity of kettle is 1.5L.

OPERATION OF YOUR KETTLE

1. To fill the kettle, remove it from the power base and open the lid by pressing the open

lid button, fill with the desired amount of water, and then close the lid. Alternatively, the kettle may be filled through the spout. The water level should not exceed MAX level or sit below MIN level. Too little water will result in the kettle switching off before the water has boiled. NOTE: Do not fill the water over the maximum level, as water may spill out of the spout when boiling. Ensure that the lid is firmly in place before plugging the power outlet.

2. Connect the plug into power outlet, all the indicators will flash once and two beeps will be heard. Position the kettle on the power base, the indicators in the fifth zone will light, If no any operation within one minute, they will be extinguished.

3. Press corresponding button according to your purpose, after press any button, the kettle will start to operate.

4. Lift the kettle from the power base and one beep will be heard, then pour the water. NOTE: Operate carefully when pouring the water from your kettle as boiling water may

result in scald, besides, don’t open the lid while the water in the kettle is hot.

5. The kettle may be stored on the power base when not in use. But make sure the power cord is unplugged.

Note: always disconnect the power supply when not use.

BOIL-DRY PROTECT

Should you accidentally let the kettle operate without water, the boil-dry protection will automatically switch off the power. If this occurs, allow the kettle to cool before filling with cold water before re-boiling.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Before cleaning, always disconnect the appliance from the power outlet and let appliance cool down completely.

1. Never immerse the kettle, power cord or power base in water, or allow moisture to contact with these parts.

2. Wipe the appearance of body with a damp cloth or cleaner, never use a poisonous cleaner.

3. Remember to clean the filter at intervals. For easier cleaning, detach the filter and then replace it after cleaning. CAUTION: Do not use chemical, steel, wooden or abrasive cleaners to clean the outside of the kettle to prevent the gloss loss.

REMOVAL OF MINERAL DEPOSITS

Your kettle should be periodically descaled as the mineral deposits in tap water may form scale on the bottom of kettle so as to cause the operation less efficiency. You can use the commercially available descaler and follow the instructions on the package of descaler. Alternatively, you may follow below instructions using the white vinegar.

1. Fill the kettle with 3 cups of white vinegar, then adding water to the amount so as to cover the bottom of kettle completely. Leave the solution in the kettle overnight.

2. Then discard the mixture in the kettle, then filling the kettle with clean water, boiling and then discard the water. Repeat several times until the odor of vinegar has been flushes away. Any stains remaining inside the spout can be removed by rubbing with a damp cloth.

Avant de commencer à utiliser l’appareil, lisez ce manuel en entier et conservez-le pour vous y référer ultérieurement.

CONSIGNES IMPORTANTES DE SÉCURITÉ

1. Lisez le manuel en entier avant d’utiliser l’appareil.

2. Avant de brancher la bouilloire à la source d’alimentation, assurez-vous que le niveau de

voltage indiqué sur l’étiquette de l’appareil (qui se trouve à la partie inférieure de la bouilloire et de la semelle) soit identique au niveau de voltage de votre résidence. Si ce n’est pas le cas, passez en contact avec votre vendeur et n'utilisez pas l’appareil.

3. Veillez à ce que le cordon d'alimentation ne pende pas du bord de la table ou de l’établi ou qu’il ne soit pas en contact avec des surfaces chaudes.

4. Ne posez pas l’appareil dans ou près des chauffes électriques ou des fours chauds.

5. Pour éviter que l’élément chauffant ne tombe en panne, veuillez ne pas faire fonctionner

l’appareil lorsqu’il est vide.

6. Pour éviter que la bouilloire ne se renverse ou qu’elle ne cause aucune blessure, elle doit être utilisée sur une surface stable et plate et elle doit être tenue hors de la portée des enfants.

9. Versez l’eau bouillante toujours doucement et avec prudence, n’allongez pas la bouilloire vers le côté avec beaucoup de vitesse.

10. Pour remettre de l’eau lorsque la bouilloire est chaude, soulevez le couvercle avec prudence.

la température de l’eau commencera à augmenter, les indicateurs s’allumeront alternativement de la première zone jusqu'à la cinquième zone, une fois que l’eau aura bouilli tous les indicateurs s’allumeront à la fois et deux « bip » sonores retentiront. Une minute plus tard, ils s'éteindront tous.

2. Le bouton de thé (T) (sert à chauffer l’eau pour la faire parvenir à 90˚C qui est la température idéale pour infuser du thé)

Une fois avoir branché l’appareil à la prise, lorsque vous appuierez sur le bouton de thé pour réchauffer l’eau à 90°C (un bref « bip » sonore retentira), les indicateurs de la quatrième zone clignoteront, la température de l’eau commencera à augmenter, les indicateurs s’allumeront alternativement de la première zone jusqu'à la quatrième zone, une fois que l’eau sera réchauffée de façon à parvenir la température de 90°C, tous les indicateurs qui sont jusqu' à la quatrième zone s’allumeront à la fois et deux « bip » sonores retentiront. Une minute plus tard, ils s'éteindront tous.

3. Le bouton de café (C) (sert à chauffer l’eau pour la faire parvenir à 80˚C qui est la température idéale pour préparer du café)

Une fois avoir branché l’appareil à la prise, lorsque vous appuierez sur le bouton de café pour réchauffer l’eau à 80°C (un bref « bip » sonore retentira), les indicateurs de la troisième zone clignoteront, la température de l’eau commencera à augmenter, les indicateurs s’allumeront alternativement de la première zone jusqu'à la troisième zone, une fois que l’eau sera réchauffée de façon à parvenir la température de 80°C, tous les indicateurs qui sont de la première zone jusqu' à la troisième zone s’allumeront à la fois et deux « bip » sonores retentiront. Une minute plus tard, ils s'éteindront tous.

CEUX À FAIRE AVANT DE COMMENCER À UTILISER LA BOUILLOIRE

Si vous utilisez la bouilloire pour la première fois ; avant d’utiliser l’appareil, nous vous conseillons de le nettoyer, et pour ce, remplissez de l’eau à l’intérieur, faites bouillir et déversez cette eau. Répétez cette opération une deuxième fois. Nettoyez la surface en essuyant avec un chiffon humide. REMARQUE : La capacité maximum de la bouilloire est de 1,5 litre.

MISE EN MARCHE DE LA BOUILLOIRE

1. Pour remplir la bouilloire, séparez-la de la base d’alimentation et ouvrez le couvercle en

appuyant sur le bouton d’ouverture de couvercle, fermez le couvercle après avoir rempli autant d'eau que vous avez besoin. Vous avez aussi la possibilité de remplir l’eau par la partie dubec de la bouilloire. Le niveau d’eau ne doit pas dépasser le niveau indiqué avec le signe de MAX ou rester au dessous de niveau indiqué avec le signe de MIN. Si vous mettez très peu d’eau, la bouilloire s’arrêtera avant que l’eau ne bouille.
