IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

1. Please read these operating instructions through carefully before connecting your

kettle to the power supply. In order to avoid damage due to incorrect use.

2. Incorrect operation and improper handling can lead to faults on the appliance and injuries to the user.

3. The appliance is designed for household use only.

4. Unplug the appliance from power supply when not in use.

5. Keep the base unit away from damp and protect from splashes.

6. Do not immerse the unit cord or plug in water or other liquids. If this should occur,

remove the plug immediately and then have the unit checked by an expert before using it again.

7. Do not operate the appliance if the cord or plug show signs of damage. If the appliance has fallen on the floor or has been cases take the appliance to a specialist for checking and repair if necessary,if the supply cord is damaged ,it must be replaced by the manufacturer,its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

8. Ensure that the cord does not hang over sharp edges and keep it away from hot surfaces.

9. Only pull it out of the power supply by the plug, not by the cord.

10. Place the appliance on a stable surface, away from hot objects(e.g. hotplates), naked

flames; do not place under curtains or low wall-cupboards

11. you should never leave the appliance unattended during use.

12. This appliance is not intended for use by person (including children)with reduced

13. Use the kettle only with the base unit supplied, and do not use the base unit for any other purposes.

14. Never remove the kettle from its base unit while in operation. Switch the appliance off first.

15. Take care to close the lid properly before switching on. Otherwise, the appliance will not switch off automatically and hot water may overflow.

16. The kettle is for heating water only and is not to be used for any other liquids

BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME

1. Remove all packing materials from the kettle.

2. Before connecting of the kettle check that voltage indicated on the rating label

corresponds the mains voltage in your home.

3. Fill the kettle with cool water up to the “MAX” mark and boil it. Empty the kettle. The

appliance is ready for use.

INSTRUCTION FOR USE FILTER PLAGING

1. Open the lid by pressing on the lid release button.

2. Place the filter between the two grooves near the spout at the front of the kettle.

3. Ensure that the filter is pressed down to the bottom of the grooves and fits correctly

then close the lid. NOTE: Never leave the filter loose in the kettle. Never remove the filter while the kettle contains hot water.

FILLING

1. Remove the kettle from the base unit.

2. You can fill the kettle with water via the spout or by opening the lid, by pressing on the

lid release button.

3. Not recommend to fill with less than 1liter of water to prevent the kettle running fry while operating.

4. Do not fill with water more than ‘‘MAX’’ mark. Avoid overfilling to prevent the water spilling out during the boiling process.

SWITCHING ON

1. After filling your kettle with water, place the kettle on the base unit.

2. Connect plug to power supply and pull down the On/Off switch.. The appliance will

begin to operate and the indicator light will come on.

SWITCHING OFF

When the water boils, the kettle will switch off automatically and the indicator light will go off. NOTE: This appliance has a safety system, which automatically switches off the heater element if the appliance is inadvertently switched when empty, or if it boils dry. In this case, let the appliance cool down completely, before filling with water again.

SWITCHING ON AGAIN

The kettle can be switched on again after cooling down about 15-20seconds, while the kettle has been switched off automatically.

CARE AND CLEANING

1. Always remove the plug from the power supply and let the appliance cool down

completely.

2. Clean the outside of the kettle and the base unit with a soft damp cloth. then wipe with

a dry cloth. Do not use scouring

3. Descale at regular intervals. Use a descaling agent, which can be obtained from specialist shops and follow the instructions given.

FILTER CLEANING

1. Remove the filter out of the kettle.

2. Place under a tap and rub gently any remaining by soft brush (do not included).

3. Replace the filter between the two grooves near the spout at the front of the kettle.

STORAGE

The cord could be winded into the base unit that has a cord storage compartment.

CONSIGNES IMPORTANTES DE SÉCURITÉ

1. Afin d’éviter de causer des pannes provenant de l’usage erroné, lisez ce mode d’emploi

avec attention avant de connecter votre cafetière à la source d’alimentation.

2. Un usage erroné et un portage incorrect du produit peut donner lieu à une panne d’appareil et à une blessure.

3. Cet appareil est destiné uniquement à l’usage domestique.

4. Débranchez l’appareil de la prise lorsque vous ne l’utilisez pas.

5. Ne permettez pas l’unité de base subir de l’humidité ou des éclaboussements d’eau.

6. N’immergez pas l’appareil, le cordon ou la fiche électrique dans l’eau ou dans d’autres

liquides. Dans un cas pareil débranchez immédiatement la fiche de la prise et faites contrôler l’appareil par un autorisé de service avant de commencer à l’utiliser de nouveau.

7. Ne tentez pas d’utiliser l’appareil si le cordon d’alimentation ou la fiche électrique est détériorée. Si l’appareil est tombé parterre ou s’il a subit un choc, remettez l’appareil au service agréé pour contrôle et réparation. En cas de panne du cordon d’alimentation, en vue d’éviter les dangers ; le cordon doit être remplacé par le fabricant, l’autorisé de service ou une personne similaire autorisée.

8. Ne permettez pas le cordon pendre des bords coupants ou être en contact avec des surfaces chaudes.

9. Lorsque vous débranchez la fiche de la prise ; saisissez la fiche et non pas le cordon.

10. Installez l’appareil sur une surface équilibrée de façon à ne pas être près des objets

chauds (four etc.), des feux nus ; ne le placez pas sous les rideaux ou sous les placards bas de cuisine.

11. Ne vous absentez jamais lors du fonctionnement de l’appareil.

12. Cet appareil n’est pas prévu pour être utilisé par des personnes (y compris les enfants)

dont les capacités physiques, sensorielles ou mentales sont réduites, ou des personnes dénuées d’expérience ou de connaissance, sauf si elles ont pu bénéficier, par l’intermédiaire d’une personne responsable de leur sécurité, d’une surveillance ou d’instructions préalables concernant l’utilisation de l’appareil. Il convient de bien surveiller les enfants pour s’assurer qu’ils ne jouent pas avec l’appareil.

13. Montez la cafetière uniquement à l’unité de base fournie avec le produit et n’utilisez jamais l’unité de base pour d’autres but.

14. Ne détachez jamais la cafetière de sa base lorsque la cafetière est en état de fonctionnement. Positionnez d’abord l’appareil sur arrêt.

15. Fermez le couvercle correctement avant de mettre l’appareil en marche. Dans le cas contraire, l’appareil ne s’arrêtera pas automatiquement et l’eau chaude peut dégorger à l’extérieur.

16. La cafetière est conçue uniquement pour réchauffer de l’eau, elle ne doit jamais être utilisée pour réchauffer d’autres liquides.

À FAIRE AVANT DE COMMENCER À UTILISER L’APPAREIL.

1. Retirez tout matériel d’emballage de la cafetière.

2. Assurez-vous que le niveau de voltage indiqué sur l’étiquette de l’appareil est le même

que le niveau de voltage de votre résidence avant de connecter la cafetière à la source d’alimentation.

3. Remplissez la cafetière avec de l’eau froide jusqu’au niveau indiqué avec un signe de “MAX” puis faites bouillir. Videz la cafetière. Votre appareil est prêt à l’emploi.

MODE D'EMPLOI MONTAGE DU FILTRE

1. Ouvrez le couvercle en appuyant sur le bouton d’ouverture de couvercle.

2. Installez le filtre entre les deux rainures se trouvant près de la partie du bec à la partie

frontale de la cafetière.

3. Montez le filtre correctement en appuyant jusqu’au dessous des rainures et fermez le couvercle. REMARQUE: Ne permettez jamais le filtre être relâché à l’intérieur de la cafetière. Ne retirez jamais le filtre lorsque de l’eau chaude est présente dans la cafetière.

REMPLISSAGE

1. Retirez la cafetière de son unité de base.

2. Vous pouvez remplir la cafetière par le bec ou en ouvrant le couvercle en appuyant

sur le bouton d’ouverture de couvercle.

3. Il est conseillé de remplir la cafetière de façon à ce qu’il y ait au moins 1 litre d’eau pour ne pas que la cafetière fonctionne en état vide.

4. Ne remplissez pas plus de jusqu'au niveau de signe de “MAX”. La cafetière ne doit pas être excessivement remplie pour ne pas que de l’eau se gicle lors de l’opération de bouillonnement.

MISE EN MARCHE DE L’APPAREIL

1. Installez l’appareil sur l’unité de base après avoir rempli la cafetière avec de l’eau.

2. Branchez la fiche à la source d’alimentation et pressez vers le bas le bouton de

Marche/Arrêt. Le voyant s’allumera lorsque l’appareil commencera à fonctionner.

ARRÊT DE L’APPAREIL

La cafetière passera automatiquement en état d’arrêt lorsque l’eau aura bouillie et le voyant s’éteindra. REMARQUE: Cet appareil est doté d’un dispositif de sécurité mettant automatiquement l’élément chauffant en état d’arrêt pour empêcher le fonctionnement au sec au cas où le bouton de marche/arrêt est pressé accidentellement. Dans un cas pareil, attendez que la cafetière refroidisse complètement avant de remplir de l’eau dans la cafetière à nouveau.

REMISE EN MARCHE DE L’APPAREIL

Dans le cas où la cafetière s’est arrêtée automatiquement, elle peut être remise en marche après avoir refroidie pendant 15-20 secondes.

ENTRETIEN ET NETTOYAGE

1. Débranchez la fiche de la source d’alimentation et attendez que l’appareil refroidisse

complètement.

2. Nettoyez la partie extérieure de la cafetière et l’unité de base à l’aide d’un chiffon doux et humide puis essuyez avec un chiffon sec. N’utilisez jamais d’éponge grattante.

3. Faites régulièrement résoudre le calcaire. Nettoyez le calcaire de l’appareil en vous servant d’un anticalcaire que vous vous procurerez des magasins tout en respectant les modes d’emploi.

NETTOYAGE DU FILTRE

1. Retirez le filtre de la cafetière.

2. Lavez-le sous le robinet et nettoyez les restes à l’aide d’une brosse douce (n’est pas

fournie avec l’appareil).

3. Installez le filtre à nouveau entre les deux rainures se trouvant près de la partie du bec à la partie frontale de la cafetière.

CONSERVATION

Enroulez le cordon d’alimentation à l’unité de base ayant une partie spécialement prévue pour enrouler le cordon.
