Mounting
Connect the sensor to terminals R and C. When installing it inside a room, just lay it out at an appropriate
location. When installing it under the floor, put it right in the middle of two heating cable se gments. Do not
install the se nsor close to 230V leads, which may generate interfe rences in the temperature readings. The wire
from the thermostat to the sensor should be as short as possible. When installed under the floor, the sensor must
be laid inside a tube cl osed at the sensor extrem ity.

Registration with central unit
• Choose Main menu 8 ”Node” on the central unit.
• Choose Sub-menu 1 ”New node” and press the OK key.
• Connect the power to the thermostat. This will automatically activate the registration.
• The display on the central unit will show ”New node OK” and the assi gned 2-digit regis tration number.
Take note of this number for the end user.

LEDs on the front panel
• Comfor t : Comfort temp eratur e is active.
• Eco: Eco-temp eratur e is ac tive.

The blue Power LED is always on.
The Eco and Comfort LEDs can show two diffe rent colours: green when the heating elem ent is active, and red
when in ac tive. If ther e is e.g. a red lig ht in th e Eco LED, i t mean s th a t th e th er m ostat is in eco-t em p eratur e
regulati on mode, but that the heating element c urrently is inactive.
Operation
The thermostat can be operated either via SMS commands sent to the central unit, or directly via the input panel
or the wireless remote control (when available) of the central unit. Please refer to the user guide of your central
unit for further informati on.

Using the thermostat
The thermostat turns the heating element on when the temperature falls down to one degree below the preset
value. This means that if the temperature is preset to 20 degrees, then the thermostat will turn on when the
temperature falls down to or below 19 degrees. It turns off again when the temperature re ac hes 20 degrees.
Please note tha t the temperature used is the one meas ured around the sensor. This means that i f the sens or is
installe d under the floor, it will report the floor temperature. The thermostat will anyway have to be adjust ed
until the right temperature is reached.
To read off the real room temperature, a room sensor will have to be used instead.
In the case of overheati ng inside the thermostat , the heating element will be turned off until the temperature
inside the enclosure falls down to normal (Software V11 or late r). It is recommended to use a contactor to
manage higher l oads.
Warranty
Sikom A.S. products are covered by a two years warranty against any faults due to material flaws or
manufacturi ng errors, which limit or render useless certain functions described for the product. The warranty
requires the customer to present the original bill, with date of purchase and type of equipment clearly readable.
What is covered by the warranty?
During the warranty period, Sikom A.S. reserves the right to repair the product or to replace defecti ve parts wit h
functional ly equivalent parts. If, after several attempts, Sikom A.S. is unable to c orrec t the problem, and the
product does not work as described in the manual, Sikom may elect to refund the purchase price or to replace the
product with a functionally equivalent one. All replaced parts and products become the property of Sikom A.S.
What is not covered by the warranty?
• Indirect damage to life, health, property, revenue and environment caused by circuits and appliances
connected to the units (install and use this product responsibly).
• Costs related to (re)installing, transporting and dismantling unit s; recycling may be governed by special
rules (see the relevant chapter).
• Damages caused by use outside of the operating condi tions specifie d in the manua l.
• Malfunctions caused by transport damages .
• Any unauthorized repair, modification or disassembly.
• Use of non-original pa rts.
• External factors , s uch as lightning, power supply iss ues, mobile network iss ues , flood damage or fire.
• Units with modifie d, removed or unreadable serial number.
