Interactive Armorers CDs – Known Compatibility Issues

The Interactive Armorers CDs for the SIG SAUER Classic series pistols (220, 226, 229, 239) and
P250 are designed to be compatible with Microsoft Internet Explorer version 7.

Internet Explorer 7 is included with Microsoft Windows versions through XP.
Windows Vista and Windows 7 have been upgraded to Internet Explorer Version 8.
The Interactive Armorers CDs do not provide support for Microsoft Internet Explorer Version 8.
Known compatibility issues include the following:

• Inability to select menu items within the web browser

• Inability bringing images in the browser window to their full size.

Customers who are experiencing difficulties running t he Interactive Armorers programs under
Windows Vista, Windows 7; or who have upgraded their web browser to Internet Explorer 8;
should try running Internet Explorer 8 in “compatibility” mode – here’s how:

• Press the “Page” button in the upper-right hand corner of the IE8 window.

• Select “Compatibility View Settings” from the drop-down list.

• In the window that then pops up, check the box for “Display all websites in Compatibility

View.”

• Click the “Close” button.

• Close out all open instances of IE8.

• Run the Interactive CD.

If you find this does not cure the compatibility issues, there are a few other things you can try:

• Install an alternate web browser (there are several available for Vista, Windows 7, including
Netscape, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Apple Safari, Opera)

• In lieu of using an alternate browser, the customer can open the individual chapters through
Windows Explorer.
