Rem em ber when selecting a lo cation for your grill ins ta lla tion , convenience is the key to outdoor co o k in g. Try to find a locatio n th at a llo ws fo r eas y ac ces s in b oth foo d preparation and service . The grill will becom e hot during operation , high tra ffic areas sho uld be avoided. An additio nal co nside ration is maintena nce an d service. Always allo w room for clea ning and annual s ervice.

CARE AND MAIN T ENANCE
Fo r maximum life of coated surfa ces , we suggest the Eas yChef grill be covered when s tored outdoors . A cu stom fit co ver is available from your dealer. If the coated surfaces beco m e dirty, they ma ybe clean ed with m ild so ap and water. Stainless surface s maybe cleaned in the sam e way. If the stainles s surface bec om es sc ra tc hed, you m ay polish the surfa ce using a “Scotch Brite” pad. Rem em be r to scrub in the dire ctio n of the materia l finish.
1. Prepare a rough or b ricke d op ening of b ased on dimensions in cutou t deta il (See Fig ure 1). Mak e sure this open ing has sides and bottom to ca pture any ash or coals that m ay drop during B BQ use.
2. Rem ove all contents from shipp ing carton and id entify with parts lis t.
3. Rem ove white protective plas tic coating from stainles s parts by pe eling from p art edge.

4. Slid chassis into o p ening and center. Front sh ould be flush with island op ening. Le vel if requ ired.
5. Plac e cha rco al tray a nd cooking grids onto fram e.
Note: If desired, the unit m ay be grouted in place in front and to p. T h is w ill give u nit a built-in .

Build in g a charco al fire maybe ac com plishe d by rem oving the cooking grids or ad ding charc oal from the fron t doo r. Stack match light type of coals in center of charcoa l pan. Light and let burn until coals are light w hite co lor. S prea d coals and adjus t cooking h eight by turning c ran k handle.
