1 Overview
1.1 General
The transponder SIMATIC RTLS4030T represents the movable device considered for
localization within the SIMATIC Locating Manager localization network. It sends its positional
information to the localization network’s nodes (anchors and gateways) which transmit the data
to the localization server for computation and visualization.

• 1 SIMATIC RTLS4030T (article number 6GT2700-3DA03)
• 1 VARTA 3 V Lithium CR123A battery
1.3 Power supply
The power supply of the device is realized via battery.
1.4 Areas of application
The device is designed for an operation temperature range from -10 to +50 °C. The battery of
the device needs to be exchanged in dry environments. The device is protected against water
splashing on all sides (IP54) and is therefore temporarily operational in outdoor applications.
