Preparation 1
• Move the shock wave head into the park position and move the table all the way up.
• Remove the mounting screws of the upper cover on the left side of the column and push
the cover downward.
• Remove the screws from the mounting plate for the tableside control panel jack (1/Fig. 1)
on the left, so that the mounting holes for board D27 located underneath are accessible.
• Remove the collimator including the mounting rail (2/Fig.1).
- If the tabletop has been sealed with silicon, carefully cut through the insulation with a
sharp knife.

• Route cable D27.X1 from the table edge to the front (1/Fig. 2).
• Check that the hose with the T-connector is routed according to the illustration (2/Fig. 2).
If not, place the angle bracket on the hose, as shown in the figure.
• Connect the hose to the connecting piece (1/Fig. 3) and to cable D27.X1 (2/Fig. 3) of
board D27.
• Guide the assembly from the front into the table opening and secure it with both Allen
screws from the left side (1/Fig. 4).
When installing the board, make sure that the air connection is not damaged and that the
hose is not kinked. (We recommend tilting the assembly so that the mounting screw does
not damage the air connection.) (2/Fig.4)
• Reinstall the retaining plate for the tableside control panel jack.
• Connect boards D4, D25 and D26 in control cabinet N11.
• Reinstall the column covers and secure them by tightening the mounting screws.
• Reinstall the collimator making sure that the hose is free of kinks.
• Remove any remaining silicon and reseal any gaps after reinstalling the collimator.
• Route the supplied cable from the ECG-Monitor to N11. Make sure that the side marked
SYNC terminates at the ECG-Monitor and that connector K14 terminates at N11.
• Connect the quick coupling supplied to the hose on the respiratory belt and secure it with
a nut.
Selecting ECG - respiratory triggering 1
(Refer also to Service software / Software parameter / Monitoring RXL2-120.032.02...)
• Switch the system ON.
• Connect the service PC.
• Start the service software.
• Select "System Logon".
• Select "Adjustment".
• Select "Parameter" .
• Select "Get from Unit".
• Select "Interface Shockwavesystem".
• Change the "current
value" of
ECG-Trigger available and
Resp-Trigger available from 00 to FF.
• Select "Set value".
• Select "Put to unit".
• Wait for the Reset.
• After the Reset ends, perform a Backup of the Parameters.

Test 1
• At the control keyboard select Respiratory Gating and ECG Triggering: refer to the
Operating Instructions.
- Press function key F8
- Press function key F12
- Function keys F5 and F6 must now be released.
• Test the respiratory and ECG functions both separately and in combination.
