Reason for the Update 0
With the Modularis control unit it is possible that switches do not respond or remain
enabled on actuation. This results in error messages and interferences in the patient treatment.
Prerequisites 0
Control units with the following serial numbers have already been updated:
1032, 1034, 1088, 1113, 1131, 1134, 1136, 1140, 1150, 1155, 1160, 1163, 1166, 1167,
1168, 1174, 1176, 1177, 1178, 1179, 1183, 1186, 1189, 1190, 1191, 1192, 1193, 1195.
Control units starting from serial number 1197 have already been delivered as changed
versions and do not have to be replaced.

Work Steps 0
• If problems arise during the operation of Modularis and if movements are not performed
properly a malfunction of the control unit can be assumed.
• The defective control unit should then be replaced by a modified control unit during the
next service call.

• Performance of a final check. Check of the overall function of the system.

• Update the system documentation.
Update the Revision level, the User Instructions and the technical documentation.
Fill out, and if needed, copy the attached "Update Completion Form" and insert it into
Register 10 of the System Binder or System Logbook.
• Updates that were completed prior to publication of this SI must also be reported.
• The update is reported as follows:
- The modification reply report has to be made exclusively through an application in the
Intranet by authorized persons. Do not send the update completion from to CSPS.
