General note1
The electronic scrap regulation described in ISO 14000 requires manufacturers of electronic systems and units to dispose of hazardous substances in their units and systems,
the disposal of hazardous substances in the unit and also when replacing problematic
substances during operation.
The product-related list of hazardous substances on Page 2 - 1 of this instruction gives
you an outline concerning parts and components that have to be disposed of. The disposal notes and the graphics on Page 2 - 1 will help you find problematic substances in
the system.
The disposal notes of the present instructions are valid when scrapping a unit replacing
environmentally relevant components and parts.

• The product-specific safe ty information contained in this do cument, as well as the
general safety information must be observed.

CAUTION
Switch OFF the entire system when working on the DIGISCAN M
system and ensure that it cannot be switched on inadvertently
during the procedure.
Laser safety1
• When working with an open laser, the leather gl oves and laser safety glasses must be
worn.
• Non-reflecting tools must be used.
