SS1000
Riser Kit for Roller or Bunk Systems
on 3X3 Crossmember or Rear Pivot
The SS1000 riser kit is designed to be used on trailers with a rear pivot dimension of 3” x 3” square tubing. It will adapt to trailers with a carrying capacity from 1800 through 4000 lb. carrying capacity. It can be used with B series bunk trailers, RB roller bunk series, and R full roller series trailers.
Arm is raised 2” in this installation.
Remove the 1/2” x 4-1/2” carriage bolt holding the existing arm to the rear pivot of the trailer that the arms are going to be raised on.
Place the rear cross extension channel up from the bottom side of the rear pivot as shown until the bottom of the channel is up against the bottom of the rear pivot.
Raise the arm up until the holes in the rear cross extension channel align with the holes in the mounting channel of the arm being installed. Note that aligning the top set of holes in the mounting channel of the arm with the holes in the rear cross extension channel will raise the arm up one (1) inch up from its normal position. Aligning the second set of holes will raise the arm up two (2) inches from its normal position.
Determine the desired position, then insert the two (2) 1/2” x 4-1/2” carriage bolts through the holes in both the mounting channel of the arm and the rear cross extension channel just aligned. Secure in place with 1/2” flange lock nuts.
Position the arms in the desired position on the rear pivot and tighten. Installation is complete.
This position will raise the arm 1”.
This position will raise the arm 2”
