The Model D4496 Deluxe Pen Press (see Figure 1) is the
ideal tool for pressing pen crafting components quickly
and easily. It features a heavy-duty steel base, anodized
aluminum knobs, an adjustable rod, and an ergonomic
rubber handle. In addition, it features a lever and screw
knob to provide dual pressing methods. The heavy-duty
steel base can be mounted horizontally or vertically.
The pen press comes mostly assembled from the factory,
but the assembly lever must be installed on the toggle
clamp prior to use.

Mounting
The pen press can be mounted horizontally or vertically.
If you intend to use the press for portable applications,
mount it to a heavy metal or wood base (at least 1" thick)
that is wide enough to prevent tipping or rocking during
use, then clamp it to a workbench or table. If space is
limited, secure the base of the pen press to a flat surface
with a C-clamp.
