Introduction
The Model D4495 Pen Press (see Figure 1) is the ideal tool
for pressing pen crafting components quickly and easily.
It features a heavy-duty steel toggle clamp that exerts up
to 300 lbs. of pressure, and a lightweight aluminum base
that can be mounted horizontally or vertically.
The pen press comes completely assembled from the
factory, but the assembly lever must be installed on the
toggle clamp prior to use.

D4495 Pen Press Instructions
Mounting
The pen press can be mounted horizontally or vertically
to avoid accidental tipping. If you intend to use the press
for portable applications, mount it to a heavy metal
or wood base (at least 1" thick) that is wide enough to
prevent tipping or rocking during use, then clamp it to a
workbench or table. If space is limited, secure the base of
the pen press to a flat surface with a C-clamp.
