CM-1000 BASIC OPERATION

1. BEFORE POWERING UP YOUR SHIMANO SPORT CAMERA:

Unlock and open the back cover, using the
USB cable included connect to power source
and completely charge the unit, insert a Micro
SD/SDHC card (not shipped with camera),
close hatch and

ensure the lock/unlock

switch is returned to the lock position.

** Micro SD/SDHC Card - Class 6 or higher
and maximum of 32gb capacity.

There are two ways to power up your
Shimano Sport Camera.

1) Press and hold the MODE button until two­beeps sound - this puts the unit on “stand
by” for further user input i.e. setting up WIFI,
selecting shooting modes and recording.

2) Press and hold the RECORD button for 1
second - this will power up the unit directly in
to RECORD mode.

A continuous “beeb” will sound and red light flash on the LED display if card

not installed correctly on start up.

When the camera is first powered up the LED lights will indicate battery levels (left)

and available space left on memory card (right). See below.

3. CHANGING SHOOTING MODES:

Pressing the “MODE” button allows the user
to toggle through the preset shooting modes
(see below for LED indicators).

Shooting modes can also be changed within
the Shimano Sport Camera App (IOS and
ANDROID). see 5

With desired shooting mode selected simply
press the RECORD button - 2 beeps will sound
and left hand LED will flash red confiming
recording has started.

Press RECORD again to stop recording.

In photo mode press the Record button - a
camera “shutter” with sound and a still
photograph will be taken.

5. DOWNLOADING THE SHIMANO SPORT CAMERA APP:

The Shimano Sport Camera App is an intuitive and feature rich application that allows the user

to view, review, change camera setting, delete and save footage and photos on the go.

In the unlikely event the Shimano Sport Camera ‘freezes’ or becomes unresponsive hold both the

MODE and RECORD buttons for 10seconds to reset your camera.

The native format the Shimano Sports Cameras records footage in, is .MOV which is industry

standard and requires no conversion to be able to be edited or uploaded to Youtube etc

After powering-up the camera, hold the
MODE button for two seconds. Both LED
lights will flash green and 2 beeps will sound ­this confirms that the camera’s WIFI has been
activated and in stand by ready to accept
“pairing” to a suitable IOS or ANDROID
device.

Turn on WIFI in your device settings and
select the network for the camera you wish
to connect to (SHIM_CAM-XXXX). When
prompted for a password enter SHIMANO_
Cam (case sensitive) - your device will confirm
connection has been successful.

Press and hold the RECORD button for 2
seconds to power down the camera - 4 beeps
will sound.

LIVEVIEW: Shows a vision preview and has a
RECORD option

FILE LIST: Shows a preview (vision only - no
audio) of what files have been recorded to the
SD card - from here files can be saved directly
to the device’s camera roll for immediate
upload to Youtube etc, edited, as a back up
and deleted from the card to create space.

SETTINGS: The control centre for the
Camera’s settings - Shooting mode, angle
free, angle settings and sensitivity etc.
