Select a well-ventilated location

Handling the power cord
Using a damaged power cord, or one with the bare wires exposed, could cause fire or result in electric shock. Alwavs observe the followina guidelines:

Never place this product itself, furniture, rugs, or other heavy objects on the power cord. The remote control operates on two R03 (AAA) 1.5 volt batteries (included). If the remote control does not operate or fails to function normally due to weak batteries, new batteries can be purchased at elec­tronics or camera stores.
~ Open the battery cover. (Remove any old
batteries that may be
inthe remote control.)

Insert new batteries and match their polarities ( + and-) with the markings inside thecompart­ment.
~ Replace the cover.
You can set clock and timer recordings using the remote control.

NOTES:
Do not subject the remote control to impact, water or excessive humidity. The remote control may notfunction if thephotoreceptor window of this product isin direct sunlight or any other strong light. If so, move the product or alter the lighting. Incorrect use of batteries may cause them to leak or burst. Do not mix old and new batteries, or mix the brands used. Bothrechargeable anddisposable batteries are available. Readthe batterywarnings and do not try to recharge disposable batteries.
Remove the batteries if the remote control will not be used for a long time.
