ACTION CARRIED OUT AS A MEASURE TO
IMPROVE THE SOFTWARE.
1.Model Name: SF-2530/2540
2.General: A change has been carried out in the ROM software. This action has been carried out
as a measure to carry out the improvements described in the attached supplemental
document and to carry out a change in a portion of the specifications. Please refer to
the attached supplemental document for details concerning this action.

Content of the change in the ROM software version for model SF-2540.
The ROM software version has been changed from MAIN V 1.01 and language data
V 1.00 to MAIN V 1.02 and language data V 1.01.
Content of the change in the ROM software version for model SF-2530.
The ROM software version has been changed from MAIN V 1.05 to MAIN V 1.06.

[1] Pin operations for the S56.
A change has been carried out so that during sort mode operations
carried out when the S56 is attached to the machine and
operations are carried out without changing the job status, the
machine will start up with the original pin settings.
[2] The addition of Sim 6-1 has been carried out.
The addition of Sim 6-1 has been carried out as a measure to
confirm the operation of the main SW relay.
The action described above has been carried out as a measure to
carry out the addition of a simulation window function in the
language ROM of model SF-2540.
[3] Auditor program display.
1) When the auditor program mode has been entered, the ‘‘- -’’
display is a flashing display, but when even one number is
input the display changes to an illuminated display.
2) The setting value display of the auditor mode settings for
auditor program P10 previously was a flashing display until a
number was input at which time the display changed to an
illuminated display. A change has been carried out and now
the display is changed to a regular flashing display.
[4] Manual register volume.
A change has been carried out in the default value of the manual
register volume. The default value of the manual register volume
has been changed from ‘‘40’’ to ‘‘45’’.
[5] Correction carried out of the non sort copy prohibit which was put in
effect after operations carried out in staple mode.
All copy operations were previously prohibited when there was
copy paper which had been stapled in the sorter delivery bin. A
change has been carried out and now copy operations which are
carried out in the non sort mode are allowed.
