1. Change in the gear in the drive unit carried out as a measure to improve
productivity.
1.Model Name: SF-2218 (only for machines bound for the Chinese market).
2.General: A change has been carried out in the maker of the gear 28T which is used in the drive
unit. This action has been carried out as a measure to improve productivity.
3.Action: From the start of 1998 July production.
2. Change in the maker of various parts in the optical unit carried out as a measure to
improve productivity.
1.Model Name: SF-2218 (only for machines bound for the Chinese market).
2.General: A change has been carried out in the maker of various parts that are used in the optical
unit. This action has been carried out as a measure to improve productivity. Please
refer to the parts list for details concerning this change.
3.Action: ∗ 1 Running change from 1998 mid-July production.
3. Change carried out in the attachment position of the interlock switch.
1.Model Name: SF-2218 (only for machines bound for the Chinese market).
2.General: The positioning holes of the fan duct (round holes) have been changed from the rear
side to the front side. This action has been carried out as a measure to stabilize the
attachment position of the interlock switch.
3.Action: ∗ 2 Japanese domestic production: From 1998 mid-July production.
Chinese (SOCC) production: From the start of 1998 July production.
French (SMF) production: From the start of 1998 August production.
