ACTION TO ALLEVIATE PROBLEMS OF NOISE FROM THE
MAIN PWB.

1.Model Name: SF-1118 (only for machines bound for the Singapore and Malaysia markets.)

2.General: A ceramic capacitor had been attached to the IC (IC15/IC23) of the machines bound for

a portion of the market destinations. In accordance with a change that was carried out
in the pattern of the PWB, however, it had become possible to attach a chip capacitor,
and as a result the attachment of the ceramic capacitor has been discontinued. This
action has been carried out as a measure to alleviate problems of noise from the main
PWB.

3.Action: From the start of 1998 May production.
