ONFIGURING THE SHARP
FOR WAP SERVICE
Setting up Vodafone
Live Access
Please remember to
switch your phone off
and back on again
after you have
changed any settings
in the phone.
Setting up WAP CSD
Access
• Press the Menu key to enter the menu system.
• Scroll to Network and press Select.
• Scroll to WAP Settings and press Select.
• Highlight the next available profile and press the Menu key.
• Press the Menu key to select Profile Name.
• Enter Vodafone GPRS and press the Menu key.
• Scroll to IP Address and press the Menu key.
• Enter 172.030.038.003 and press the Menu key.
• Scroll to Homepage and press the Menu key.
• Enter http://live.vodafone.co.nz (case sensitive) and press the Menu key.
• Scroll to Port Number and press the Menu key.
• Change the Port Number to 09201 and press the Menu key.
• Scroll to Connection Type and press the Menu key.
• Scroll to GPRS and press the Menu key.
• Scroll to GPRS Settings and press the Menu key.
• Scroll to APN and press the Menu Key.
• Enter live.vodafone.com and press the Menu key.
• Press the Back key twice to return to the WAP Settings menu.
• Scroll to the profile you just created and press the Menu key.
• Press the Menu key to enter the menu system.
• Scroll to Network and press Select.
• Scroll to WAP Settings and press Select.
• Highlight the next available profile and press the Menu key.
• Press the Menu key to select Profile Name.
• Enter Vodafone CSD and press the Menu key.
• Scroll to IP Address and press the Menu key.
• Enter 172.030.038.003 and press the Menu key.
• Scroll to Homepage and press the Menu key.
• Enter http://wap.vodafone.co.nz (case sensitive) and press the Menu key.
• Scroll to Port Number and press the Menu key.
• Change the Port Number to 09201 and press the Menu key.
• Scroll to Connection Type and press the Menu key.
• Scroll to CSD and press the Menu key.
• Scroll to CSD Settings and press the Menu key.
• Scroll to Phone No. and press the Menu key.
• Enter +6421700747 and press the Menu key.
• Leave the Username and Passwor d blank.
• Press the Back key twice to return to the WAP Settings menu.
• Scroll to the profile you just created and press the Menu key.
• ONLY DO THIS STEP IF YOU WANT TO USE CSD AS YOUR MAIN
CONNECTION METHOD.
