1. Measure carried out to alleviate problems of original document mis-counts in the
RDH unit.
1.Model Name: SD-4085
2.General: There was a problem of mis-counts sometimes occurring in the1-cycle detection arms
of the models listed above in cases when approximately 20 mm of the original
document upper curl is used. As a measure to alleviate this problem, a change has
been carried out in the method of assembly used for the 1-cycle detection unit. As a
result of this change the detection area has been improved. As a permanent measure a
change has been carried out in the alignment positioning holes of the gears.
3.Description: Marking of the gears has been carried out on the metal molds, to be used as alignment
positioning marks. The position of the marking hole(ø1) has been moved to the marking
position location as described in the figure shown below. In accordance with this
change a change has been carried out in the part code, and the color of the part has
been changed from white to black.

closing operations of the paper entrance open and closing paper guide of the RDH.
1.Model Name: SD-4085
2.General: There have been problems with abnormal noise which sometimes occurs during
opening and closing operations of the paper entrance open and closing paper guide of
the RDH in the models listed above. As a measure to alleviate this problem a change
has been carried out on the gear axles of the gears in the rotary damper section to
correct the interval between the axles.
3.Action: From 1996 mid-October production.

conformity with the European standards.

2.General: The addition of attachment holes for the PWB has been carried out on the reversion
drive frame of the models listed above. This change has been carried as a measure to
establish and maintain conformity with the European standards.

2.General: Roller collars have been added to the original document tray of the RDH units in the
models listed above. This addition has been carried out as a measure to improve
problems of the original document becoming soiled or dirty, and to improve the lowering
performance of the RDH.
3.Description: New addition: Roller collar PCLR-0435FCZZ (Q’ty: 0 → 4)
