1. Change in the method of attachment of the RDH pusher solenoid attachment plate as a measure to improve the problem of paper feeding jams.

2.General: Unevenness occurred in the position of the SB sheet (P/G 41 -15) when the SB

solenoid was turned on, due to the method of attachment of the finisher attachment plate which is attached to the SB solenoid (P/G 42 -2). In the worst cases jams of the original document sometimes occur during feeding operations. As a measure to alleviate this problem, the direction of attachment has been limited as shown below. ∗Care to attach the plate in accordance with the new attachment method should be exercised when carrying out replacement operations during servicing of the machine.

2. Measure to prevent operation errors of the finisher.

1.Model Name: SD-F202

2.General: The following trouble occurred in the model listed above. As a measure to alleviate

these problems, a change has been carried out in the ROM of the finisher. Content of the trouble:

1. Jogger operation misses have occurred during staple mode copy operations using B4 copy paper.

2. Staple operation misses have occurred after staple mode jam recoveries. (staple operations are carried out even when all of the copy papers have been taken out of the staple tray after recovery)

3. A change has been carried out so that operation halts will occur after the second HP during initialization as a measure to evade problems with patents.

4. The solenoid that is displayed during Sim 3-3 (finisher load operation) is different from the solenoid that is actually in operation.

3. Measure to prevent contact of the delivery belt.

2.General: A change has been carried out in the shape of the parts and the addition and

discontinuance of sheets have also been carried out. These changes have been carried out as a measure to maintain the space between the delivery belt and the paper delivery outside PG of the SDF in the model listed above.
