1. Preventing the heat roller gear from making noise.

2.General: The fusing unit’s heat roller gear may get worn after extended use and begin to make a

strange noise. To prevent this, we have changed the gear material from phenol to PAI and also made machining improvements.

3.Action: From the first unit of May , 1996 production.

2. Regarding double feeding by the multi-manual paper feeding unit.

1.Model Name: SD-2060/3062

2.General: When handling a jam, if you pull out the jammed paper without pressing the pressure

release lever, the regulation spring (P/G ) may break. As a result, the paper

feeding shaft can only rotate in one direction and double feeding may result. T o prevent this problem, we have made the following changes.

3.Description: We are changing the DV gear (P/G ) which drives the driving shaft to a one way

clutch gear.

4.Action: From the first unit of May , 1996 production.
