2. MEASURE TO PREVENT JAMS FROM OCCURRING IN THE REVERSION GATE SECTION OF THE FUSING UNIT.

1. Measure to prevent leaking in the TC unit.

1.Model name: SD-2060/3062.

2.General: Small leaks sometimes occur in the TC/AC unit between the MC spring shown in the

figure below and the metal section where the MC tension spring in the TC holder-R is hooked. To alleviate this problem, the measure described below has been carried out.

3.Description: In order to carry out a change in the shape of the MC spring and the attachment location, a change in the shape of the suction frame has been carried out. (Note: The problem described above has not occurred in machines produced before the change, and therefore it is not necessary to carry out replacements with new parts.)

M3 x 6 screws changed to M4 x 6 screws.

Change in the shape of the MC spring (one location only).

Change in shape.

4.Action: From 1995 mid-July production.

2. Measure to prevent jams from occurring in the reversion gate section of the fusing unit.

1.Model name: SD-2060/3062.

2.General: Jams sometimes occur at the reversion gate in the fusing unit when copy paper which

has an upward curl is used. To alleviate this problem, the measure described below has been carried out.

3.Description: A gate sheet has been added to the reversion gate to prevent the jams described above from occurring.

4.Action: From 1995 mid-June production.
