1. Regarding double feeding of the center tray.
1.Model Name: SD-2060/3062
2.General: Due to problems with the back end sheet, which is attached to the center tray, static
electric charge builds up on the paper, resulting in double feeding. In order to prevent
this problem, we have made the following changes.
3.Description: The back end sheet will be changed to one which is conductive. This should reduce
the build up of static electricity.

• Procedure for attachment (x, y) = (± 0.5, ± 0.5)

2. In response to PSD jams of the center tray.
1.Model Name: SD-2060/3062
2.General: Paper which has been copied may curl a little at the top as it is entering the center tray.
When this happens, the timing of the detection lever in the suction unit may become
inaccurate, resulting in PSD jams. There will be changes to the detection lever’s long
lead switch, and the detector will be changed so that its timing does not become
inaccurate even when the top of a page has curled.
3.Action: From the middle of June, 1995 production on. ( Running change )
3. Preventing the 1000 tray unit’s tray from getting snagged.
1.Model Name: SD-2060/3062
2.General: The 1000 tray unit’s tray catches onto the upper part of the size guide R when it moves
to any position lower than its highest one. To prevent this problem we have made the
following changes.
3.Description: To prevent the tray from getting caught on the size guide, a side plate sheet has been
added, as shown in the figure.
