1. Measures to prevent the cutting of the wire in the 1000 tray .
1.Model name: SD-2060/3062.
2.General: When the machines are left in countries with cold weather, for a long period of time with
the 1000 paper tray in the elevated position, the wires of the tray assume the shape of
the position, and when the tray is lowered this can caus e problems in the tray. If action
is taken to alleviate the trouble mentioned above, the wires sometimes become cut, and
to prevent this from happening, the following measures have been carr ied out.

3.Description: Changes in the parts of the 1000 paper tray have been carried out so that it is easier to
lower, and the method of wrapping the wires has been changed. (Please refer to the
figure included on a separate page.)
1000 Paper tray → Change in shape
1000 Frame A unit → Change in shape (change in the no. of pulley bosses)

Note: When these wires are replaced, it is necessary to replace both wires in the 1000
paper tray simultaneously. (It is not possible to replace only one of the wires.)

2. Addition of a sheet to cover the elevator motor to prevent the infiltration of foreign
matter.
1.Model name: SD-3062.
2.General: There was a possibility of infiltration of foreign matter through the opening section
above the staple tray in the finishing unit. If by c hance metalli c matter happens to
infiltrate into the elevator motor there is a possibility that it may come in contact with the
terminals of the motor. To alleviate this problem, a cover sheet has been attached to
the elevator motor.
