1. Improvement measures for dirty conveyor belts.

1.Model name: SD-2060

2.General: Because of the amount of time required to clean the RADF conveyor belt when it

becomes dirty, the material of the belt has been changed to one which is more easily cleaned. Note: The change in the belt will lower the conveyance of the belt, and so a curve was

added to pressure roller plate spring 2 to improve conveyance.

3.Description: The 2 changes described above have been implemented to prevent the conveyor belt from becoming dirty and to facilitate cleaning operations.

Pressure roller plate spring 2 should be replaced when changing over from the old type belt to the new type belt.

4.Action: From start of 1994 November production.

2. Change in shape of RADF hinge angle.

1.Model name: SD-2060

2.General: With the start of mass production of model SD-2160, the parts used for model SD-2060

(described below) were changed to those used for model SD-2160 to establish interchangeability.

3. Improvement of shift paper exit unit operation.

1.Model name: SD-3062

2.General: The shift paper exit unit of the UDH adjusts to a minimum of B5 size paper. However,

B5 size paper is not used overseas, and the minimum paper size adjustment for overseas machines is A4. To accommodate this the adjustment movement of the shift paper exit unit has been modified by adding a block so that the minimum size adjustment (when aligning a page along the left side) of the machine is se t to A4 .

A request for this part was made by the overseas AB market, but if B5 size paper is not required by the inch markets, the size adjustment operations can be modified to A4/Letter size conversion.
