CORRECTION IN SERVICE MANUAL(FAILURE IN THE
EXPLANATION OF PROCESS REVISING SYSTEM)
1.Model name: SD-2060, SD-3062
2.General: The drum life (to stop revising) was incorrectly described the 4-7 page of the service
manual for overseas. Therefore please correct them.
3.Description: Correct the number from 200k to 250k as shown in below.

The photoconductor drum is subject to mechanical stress by the
cleaning blade to reduce the thickness of the OPC layer.
The photoconductor is also subject to optical stress. These stresses
reduce the photo sensitivity of the photoconductor drum, producing
background copying on copy papers. To avoid this, the copy lamp
voltage may be changed to adjust the copy density.
In this model, to reduce the number of service calls, the reduction in
the photo sensitivity of the photoconductor drum is corrected by inÂcreasing the copy lamp voltage automatically.
SHARP CORPORATION Reprography Division
When a new photoconductor is installed, the drum rotating time is
counted by the timer, which counts up every 4.4 hours (the count can
be checked with TC44-9 DMRNCT), and correction of the copy lamp
voltage is performed. (Refer to Fig.3).
This correction is valid in all the copy modes.
The correction is performed until 133 hours of drum rotating time,
within the range of the max. supply voltage of the copy lamp.
When the photoconductor is replaced with a new one, the photoconÂductor drum correction counter must be reset by test command 24-7.
