PREVENTION OF PAPER JAM IN APERTURE SECTION OF STAPLER

1.Model name: SD-3062, for destinations of the 200V series only

2.General: Under the condition of high humidity, the A4 igepa sized papers tended to be curling

and jamming in the aperture section while copying in the stapler mode. It caused failure in stapling.

3.Description: We have prevented paper jam by changing the forms of the ST upper sheet A and B attached to the stapler unit.

Clean the surface of attachment positions with alcohol. (The sheet will be detached when oil remains.)

Attach the part B of the double-sided tape along with standards 1 and 3 as shown in the illustration left. Be sure not to cover the part D because staples come out here. Set the part C spacer along with standards 4 and 5, without floating the part A.

Attach the part E of the double-sided tape along with standards 1 and 2. Be sure not to cover the part where staples come out.
