1. Establishment of uniformity of some of the parts in the tray unit carried out as a
measure to improve productivity.

1.Model Name: AR-280/285/335

2.General: Uniformity with model AR-405 has been established with some of the parts in the tray

unit of the models listed above. This action has been carried out as a measure to
improve productivity.

3.Action: From the 1st lot of 1999 January production.

Please refer to the parts list for details concerning each of the changes described
above. In addition, since the form of the unit after the changes have been carried out is
the same as for model AR-405, please refer to the parts guide.

2. Decrease in the number of fixing screws used in the F/R manual holders carried out
as a measure to improve productivity.

1.Model Name: AR-280/285/335

2.General: A decrease in the number of fixing screws has been carried out for the F/R manual

holder of the multi-manual unit. The number of fixing screws has been changed from 2
each to 1 each. This action has been carried out as a measure to improve productivity.

3. Decrease in the number of screws used in the vertical transport unit carried out as a
measure to improve productivity.

1.Model Name: AR-280/285/335

2.General: Some of the screws in the vertical transport unit have been discontinued in accordance

with a change that was carried out in the shape of the transport stay (the addition of a
hook was carried out) of the vertical transport unit. This action has been carried out as a
measure to improve productivity.
