CAUTION
For the built-in modem and LAN unit
• Do not insert the modem cable into the LAN jack. Plugging the modem
cable into the LAN jack will cause damage to the LAN jack and the cable
and then, the computer may malfunction.
• The built-in modem is designed only for regular analog telephone lines.
The modem may be damaged when connected to a digital ISDN terminal or
a digital PBX.
• Use a hub supporting the Ethernet when connecting the LAN cable to one.

For the PC card and compact flash card
• When using a protruding PC card or compact flash card, be sure not to give
force to the card. It may damage the card or the card slots.
• Care must be taken when carrying your computer with a protruding card
inserted. It is recommended that you remove the protruding card before
moving your computer.
