The TG5 RGB Silent PCGH Edition doesn’t only know how to show o with appearances, but it also makes an
impression due to its pleasant quietness. Through another cooperation with PC Games Hardware, the PC case
has been newly designed in order to operate as quietly as possible. The case has the impressive looks of the
its predecessor, but the noise levels have been distinctly reduced thanks to damping mats on the side panel
and top panel as well as special fans. Full performance during full quietness make the TG5 RGB Silent a perfect
case for undisturbed gaming.

The TG5 RGB Silent is the result of a redesign, in which the focus has been on minimal noise volume. The interior of the case is equipped with insulation. This, together with covers, which are now the completely closed,
considerably contributes to the reduction of noise levels. At the same time, special fans are deployed within the
case which produce a good airflow and rotate at a purposely quite 800 RPM.
ILLUMINATED
RGB FRONT
The TG5 RGB Silent still catches the eye with its
incomparably radiant looks. The surface of the front
panel is almost entirely illuminated from behind by
three addressable RGB LED fans. Another fan is
pre-installed on the rear panel, casting light into the
interior of the case. The LEDs can be precisely
controlled and illuminated as desired via the
software of compatible mainboards which have a
pinout of 5V-D-coded-G or 5V-D-G.
The TG5 RGB Silent case, along with all other
Sharkoon products marked with the "ADDRESSABLE
RGB" logo, are certified for Asus Aura Sync, MSI
Mystic Light Sync, Gigabyte Fusion and ASRock
Polychrome SYNC. These products are thus easy to
incorporate into existing systems.
Sharkoon products marked with the "ADDRESSABLE RGB" logo are compatible with mainboards which have headers for addressable RGB LED fans and strips. The headers should
have the pin configuration 5V-D-coded-G or 5V-D-G. Examples of these RGB connections
from the most important mainboard manufacturers are shown below. The RGB pin configuration is independent of manufacturer. However, the naming and marking of these connections may vary between manufacturers. For further information concerning compatibility,

The TG5 RGB Silent comes with a
preinstalled addressable RGB
controller. With compatible mainboards, this will function as a hub
for controlling and synchronizing
up to eight addressable LED components, which will illuminate in
up to 16.8 million colors. The controller is connected to the power
supply via a SATA connector and
to a mainboard via a 4-pin or 3-pin
header for addressable LEDs with
the pinout: 5V-D-coded-G or
5V-D-G.

MANUAL COLOR CONTROL
The TG5 RGB Silent also has a manual color control function for mainboards which do not have headers
for addressable LED components. With this, the RGB controller is not connected to the mainboard, but
rather connected to the power supply and the reset switch of the PC case. The switch’s reset function
is then replaced with a new function which allows up to twenty lighting modes to be cycled through
and selected, or, if desired, the lighting can be turned o.

With the TG5 RGB Silent, it doesn’t only make a dierence what the ears hear, but also what the eyes see. While the glass front
panel lets the illuminated fans shine through, the tempered glass side panel presents a view of the installed hardware. So that
nothing spoils the good looks, there are no screws visible on the side panel. The panel is simply rested on the side frame and
is then attached via two screws at the back the case.
