Please use caution when using the steam mop.
The steam emitted from the steam mop is very
hot.
POLARIZED PLUG:
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is
wider than the other). As a safety feature, this
plug will fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If
the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse
the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified
electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this
safety feature.
CAUTION:
Keep all Shark
®
branded cleaners out of the
reach of children.
Eye irritant. Should some of the Shark
®
branded
cleaners be rubbed or splashed into the eyes,
wash out thoroughly with water. If irritation
continues, contact a physician.
In case of ingestion, drink 16 FL. oz. (2 cups) of
water.

1. Use ONLY with power supply cord provided with
the appliance.
2. Use the system only for its intended use.

from power supply when not in use.
6. Turn off all controls before unplugging.

9. Use only manufacturer’s recommended accessories.
10. DO NOT use with damaged cord or plug. If the
appliance is not working as it should, has been
dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or dropped
into water, return the appliance to EURO-PRO
Operating LLC for examination and repair. Incorrect
re-assembly or repair can cause a risk of electrical
shock or injury to persons when the appliance is
used.
11. To protect against a risk of electric shock, DO
NOT immerse the appliance into water or any
other liquids.
12. DO NOT handle the plug or the appliance with
wet hands or operate the appliance without shoes.
13. DO NOT pull or carry by cord, use the power cord
as a handle, close a door on the cord, or pull the
cord around sharp edges or corners. Do not run
the appliance over the power cord. Keep the power
cord away from heated surfaces.
14. DO NOT unplug by pulling on the power cord.
To unplug, grasp the plug not the power cord. Do
not use extension cords or outlets with inadequate
current carrying capacity.

15. DO NOT use for space heating purposes.
16. DO NOT put any objects into openings. Do not
use with any opening that is blocked.
17. DO NOT put hands or feet under the Shark®
Steam & Spray™ Mop.
18. Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of
the body away from openings and moving parts.
19. Use ONLY on flat, horizontal surfaces. Do not use
on walls, counters or windows.
20. To reduce the risk of fire and electric shock - use
ONLY Shark® cleaning solutions intended for use
with this appliance.
21. DO NOT add any cleaning solutions in the
Shark® Steam & Spray™ Mop other than Shark®
Steam Energized™ Cleanser. Use of other scented
perfumes, oils or any other chemicals may damage
or clog the unit and void the warranty.
22. DO NOT mix other cleaners with Shark®
Energized™ Cleanser as this could affect the
effectiveness of the appliance.
23. DO NOT use the Shark® Steam & Spray™ Mop
to clean up or absorb flammable or combustible
materials.
24. NEVER LEAVE THE SHARK® STEAM &
SPRAY™ MOP IN ONE SPOT ON ANY
SURFACE FOR ANY PERIOD OF TIME
WHEN THE CLEANING PAD IS ATTACHED
OR WITH THE APPLIANCE TURNED ON AS
THIS WILL DAMAGE YOUR FLOORS.
25. When cleaning the Shark® Steam & Spray™ Mop,
unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet,
and clean with a dry or damp cloth. Do not pour
water or use alcohol, benzene or paint thinner on
the unit.
26. Unplug the appliance before attaching or removing
the pads.
27. Extreme caution should be exercised when using
this appliance to clean stairs.
28. Never use the Shark® Steam & Spray™ Mop
without the cleaning pad attached.
29. DO NOT leave batteries in the unit. Remove the
batteries when not in use.
30. DO NOT incinerate batteries or expose to high
temperatures. They may explode.
31. This unit is not intended for use with rechargeable
batteries. Use of rechargeable batteries can
damage the unit or lead to other hazards.
32. Leaks from battery cells can occur under extreme
conditions. If the liquid, which is 20-35% solution of
potassium hydroxide, gets on the skin wash quickly
with soap and water or neutralize with a mild acid
such as lemon juice or vinegar. If the liquid gets
into the eyes, flush them immediately with clean
water for a minimum of 10 minutes. Seek medical
attention.
33. Keep your work area well lit.
34. Store the Shark® Steam & Spray™ Mop indoors in a
cool, dry place.
35. To avoid circuit overload, do not operate another
appliance on the same socket (circuit) as the
Shark® Steam & Spray™ Mop.
36. If an extension cord is absolutely necessary, an
extension cord rated a minimum of 15 ampere, 14
gauge cord should be used. Cords rated for less
amperage may overheat. Care should be taken to
arrange cord so that it cannot be pulled or tripped
over.
WARNING: Your Shark
®
Steam
& Spray™ Mop is designed to clean hard floor
surfaces. Do not use on wood or tile floors that are
highly worn, unfinished or have a wax or oil finish.
Surfaces that have been treated with wax or some
no wax floors may be damaged by the cleaning
solutions, therefore, it is always recommended to
test an isolated area of the surface to be cleaned
before proceeding. You should always check the use
and care instructions from the floor manufacturer.

FICHE POLARISÉE :
Cet appareil est doté d’un cordon à fiche polarisée
(une lame de contact est plus large que l’autre).
Par mesure de sécurité, cette fiche ne peut
être insérée que d’un seul côté dans une prise
polarisée. Si la fiche ne s’insère pas complètement
dans la prise de courant, inversez-la. Si cela ne
fonctionne toujours pas, contactez un électricien
compétent. Ne tentez pas de contourner
cette caractéristique de sécurité.

13. NE TIREZ PAS sur le cordon pour transporter l’appareil

empoignez la fiche et non le cordon d’alimentation.
N’utilisez pas de rallonges électriques ou des prises dont
la capacité électrique est inadéquate.
15. N’UTILISEZ PAS l’appareil pour réchauffer une pièce.
16. N’INSÉREZ PAS d’objets dans les ouvertures. N’utilisez
pas l’appareil si des ouvertures sont obstruées.
17. NE METTEZ PAS les mains ou les pieds sous la
vadrouille à vapeur Steam & SprayMC de SharkMD.
18. Gardez les cheveux, les vêtements amples, les doigts et
toutes autres parties du corps loin des ouvertures et des
parties mobiles.
19. Utilisez l’appareil UNIQUEMENT sur des surfaces
planes et horizontales. N’utilisez pas l’appareil sur les
murs, les comptoirs ou les fenêtres.
20. Pour réduire le risque d’incendie et d’électrocution,
utilisez UNIQUEMENT les produits de nettoyage
SharkMD conçus pour l’utilisation avec cet appareil.
21. N’AJOUTEZ PAS de solutions nettoyantes autres
que le produit Steam EnergizedMC de SharkMD dans la
vadrouille Steam & SprayMC de SharkMD. L’utilisation de
parfums, d’huiles parfumées ou de tout autre produit
chimique peut endommager l’appareil et annuler la
garantie.
22. NE MÉLANGEZ PAS d’autres produits nettoyants
avec le nettoyant EnergizedMC de SharkMD puisque cela
pourrait nuire à l’efficacité de l’appareil.
23. N’UTILISEZ PAS la vadrouille Steam & SprayMC de
SharkMD pour aspirer des matériaux inflammables ou
combustibles.
24. NE LAISSEZ JAMAIS LA VADROUILLE STEAM
& SPR AYMC DE SHARKMD EN POSITION
STATIONNAIRE, SUR N’IMPORTE QUELLE
SURFACE, POUR UNE PÉRIODE PROLONGÉE
LORSQUE LE TAMPON DE NETTOYAGE EST
INSTALLÉ OU LORSQUE L’APPAREIL EST EN
MARCHE PUISQUE CELA ENDOMMAGERA VOS
PLANCHERS.
25. Retirez le cordon d’alimentation de la prise électrique
lorsque vous nettoyez la vadrouille à vapeur Steam &
SprayMC de SharkMD à l’aide d’un linge sec ou humide.
Ne versez pas d’eau ou d’alcool, de benzène ou de diluant
à peinture sur l’appareil.
26. Débranchez l’appareil avant de fixer ou de retirer les
tampons.
27. Soyez extrêmement prudent lorsque vous utilisez cet
appareil pour nettoyer des escaliers.
28. N’utilisez pas la vadrouille Steam & Spray
MC
de SharkMD sans le tampon de nettoyage.
29. NE LAISSEZ PAS les piles dans l’appareil. Retirez les
piles lorsque vous n’utilisez pas la vadrouille.
30. N’INCINÉREZ PAS les piles et ne les exposez pas à des
températures élevées. Elles pourraient exploser.
31. Cet appareil n’est pas conçu pour les piles rechargeables.
L’utilisation de piles rechargeables peut l’endommager ou
poser des risques.
32. Une fuite des éléments de la pile pourrait survenir dans
des conditions extrêmes. Si le liquide composite de 20 à
35 % d’une solution d’hydroxyde de potassium touche
votre peau, lavez-vous immédiatement avec de l’eau et
du savon ou neutralisez la zone touchée avec un acide
doux, tel du jus de citron ou du vinaigre. Si le liquide
entre en contact avec vos yeux, rincez-les immédiatement
à l’eau propre pendant au moins dix minutes. Consultez
un médecin.
33. Assurez-vous que votre espace de travail est bien éclairé.
34. Rangez la vadrouille Steam & SprayMC de SharkMD à
l’intérieur, dans un endroit frais et sec.
35. Afin d’éviter une surcharge électrique, n’utilisez pas un
autre appareil branché sur la même prise de courant
(circuit) que celle utilisée pour la vadrouille Steam &
SprayMC de SharkMD.
36. Si vous devez absolument utiliser une rallonge, utilisez
un cordon de 15 ampères minimum et de calibre 14.
Les rallonges électriques de calibre moindre peuvent
surchauffer. Des précautions doivent être prises pour
s’assurer que le cordon ne puisse pas être tiré ou qu’il
puisse faire trébucher une personne.
AVERTISSEMENT : Votre
vadrouille professionnelle Steam & SprayMC de SharkMD
est conçue pour nettoyer les revêtements de sol durs.
N’utilisez pas l’appareil sur des planchers de bois ou
de tuiles qui sont très usés, qui n’ont aucun fini ou qui
ont une cire ou un fini à l’huile. Les surfaces qui ont
été traitées avec de la cire ou les planchers sans cirage
peuvent être endommagés par les produits pour le
nettoyage et le polissage; par conséquent, il est toujours
recommandé de tester le produit sur une zone isolée de la
surface à nettoyer avant de procéder. Il est recommandé
de vérifier les instructions d’utilisation et d’entretien
données par le fabricant du revêtement de sol.

PELIGRO DE QUEMADURAS.
Tenga cuidado al usar el trapeador de vapor. El vapor
que sale del trapeador a vapor es muy caliente.
ENCHUFE POLARIZADO:
Este artefacto tiene un enchufe polarizado (una de
las patas es más ancha que la otra). Como medida
de seguridad, este cable entrará únicamente en un
tomacorriente polarizado. Si el enchufe no entra
completamente en el tomacorriente, inviértalo. Si
aún no entra, llame a un electricista calificado. No
intente alterar este dispositivo de seguridad.
CUIDADO:
Mantenga todos los limpiadores marca Shark® fuera
del alcance de los niños.
Irrita los ojos. Si algún limpiador Shark® entra en
contacto con sus ojos, lávelos muy bien con agua. Si
la irritación persiste, llame a un médico. En caso de
ingestión, beba 16 onzas líquidas (2 tazas) de agua.

25. Al limpiar el trapeador Shark® Steam & SprayMR,

26. Desenchufe el artefacto antes de colocar o remover las
almohadillas.
27. Debe tener mucho cuidado al utilizar este artefacto para
limpiar escaleras.
28. Nunca use el trapeador Shark® Steam & SprayMR sin la
almohadilla de limpieza colocada.
29. NO deje las pilas puestas en la unidad. Saque las pilas
cuando no la use.
30. NO incinere las pilas ni las exponga a altas

pérdidas. Si el líquido de las baterías, que es una solución
de 20-35% hidróxido de potasio, entra en contacto

vinagre. Si el líquido le entra en los ojos, enjuáguelos
inmediatamente con agua limpia durante 10 minutos

33. Mantenga el área de trabajo bien iluminada.
34. Guarde el trapeador Shark® Steam & SprayMR en el
interior, en un lugar fresco y seco.
35. Para evitar la sobrecarga del circuito, no utilice otro
artefacto en el mismo enchufe (circuito) con el trapeador
Shark® Steam & SprayMR.
36. Si el uso de un cable de extensión es absolutamente
necesario, debe usar uno con una capacidad de 15
amperes, cable No. 14. Los cables de capacidad menor
pueden recalentarse. Tenga cuidado al colocar el cable
para que nadie lo tironee o se tropiece con él.

Steam & SprayMR está diseñado para limpiar superficies
duras. No lo use en madera o baldosas de piso que
estén muy gastadas, sin acabado o tengan un acabado
de cera o de aceite. Las superficies tratadas con cera o
algunos pisos sin cera pueden dañarse con el líquido de
limpieza, por lo que le recomendamos que pruebe en un
área aislada de la superficie a limpiar antes de empezar.

ASSEMBLY
1 Insert the handle into the neck of the main body of
the Steam & Spray™ Mop. Push the mop handle and
main body of the appliance together until you hear
it “click” into place. (Fig. 1)
2 Insert the power cord plug into the power cord
receptacle on the unit. (Fig. 2)
3 Hold the power cord and wrap it around the cord
holders. (Fig. 3)
4 Remove the battery cover and insert the 4 AA
batteries. (Fig. 4) Replace the battery cover.
5 Place the Steam & Spray™ Mop unit on top of the
Cleaning Pad. (Fig. 5)
If using the washable cleaning pad, ensure that the
Velcro® side is facing up and the tab is in the back.
If using the SaniFiber™ cleaning pad, ensure the
logo side is facing up.

Cleaning Pad
IMPORTANT: Always make sure that the Steam &
Spray™ Mop is UNPLUGGED from the wall when
not in use. Never change or remove the cleaning
pad when the appliance is plugged into the wall.
Use ONLY Steam Energized™ Cleanser. The
addition of other chemicals or cleaning solutions
may damage the appliance, void the warranty and
could be unsafe for you and your family.

IMPORTANT: When you are using the mop for
the first time, it might take longer than the normal
30 seconds to start steaming.
Using Your Steam & Spray™ Mop
IMPORTANT: Do not use on unsealed wood or
unglazed ceramic floors. Do not use on wood or
tile floors that are highly worn, unfinished or have
a wax or oil finish. Surfaces that have been treated
with wax or some no wax floors may be damaged
by the cleaning solutions therefore it is always
recommended to test an isolated area of the surface
to be cleaned before proceeding. You should always
check the use and care instructions from the floor
manufacturer.
IMPORTANT: Make sure the floors are swept or
vacuumed before using the Steam & Spray™ Mop.

4 Twist the quick release cord holder to unwrap the
power cord completely. Plug into an electrical outlet.
Secure cord into upper and lower cord hooks.
5 Make sure that the Cleaning Pad is attached to the
mop head.

IMPORTANT: When cleaning, do not use the
Steam & Spray™ Mop without attaching a Cleaning
Pad, the Steam Energized™ Cleanser bottle, and
filling the water tank first.
Cleaning Your Hard Floors
Filling the Water Tank:
1 Turn the water tank cap counter clockwise and
remove from the unit. (Fig. 6)
2 Using the filling flask, pour water into the water
tank. Do not overfill. Replace the cap on the water
tank. (Fig. 7)
NOTE: To prolong the life of your Steam & Spray
™
Mop, we recommend using distillied water.
3 Insert the Steam Energized™ Cleanser bottle into the
unit upside down. Push it down to make sure that
it is well inserted. You will hear an audible “Click”
when the Cleanser bottle is inserted properly.
