SAFETY & WARNING INSTRUCTIONS
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Using the Powered Scooper
1. Place the unit flat on surface to be cleaned. Make sure that the edge of the scooper is next to the mess or spill.
2. Press and hold the power button. Allow the bag to pick up the mess by moving the scooper toward the mess.
3. Move the unit slowly along the spill. The bag roller action practically does all the work gathering the spill into the bag.
4. Once the spill is in the bag, release the power button.
NOTE:
Press power button slightly to make the unit operate. Press button harder and the front bar will come down to help drag the mess in. When the power button is pressed the front bag bar flips down 90°; this action enables the top of the bag to grab the top of a large mess, making the bag action more efficient in picking-up a large mess directly into the bag.
To dispose of the bags:
5. Gather the opening of the bag together
to contain the spill or the mess.
6. Press the spool release button upward
while gently pulling on the bag until you reach the perforated end of the bag.
7. Tear off the bag from the roll and
dispose.
NOTE
: If cleaning spills, you may need to wipe up the remaining residue on the surface.
WARNING
: Do NOT pick up anything that is burning or smoking, such as cigarettes, matches or hot ashes.
Using the On-Board Light
Care & Maintenance
We recommend that you clean the attachments after each use.
1. To clean the unit, wipe with damp cloth or sponge. Do NOT immerse the unit in water or run under the tap. This is a battery operated device and it will short circuit if it is wet.
2. To clean the large scoop, remove from unit and rinse under running water.
NOTE
: We do NOT recommend placing
the large scoop in the dishwasher.
Tips for Use
• The Grab N’ Bag Powered Scooper is great for household messes and even pet mess clean-ups. Use it in the kitchen or in the garage for minor spills.
• Use the large scoop for larger messes or dry clean-ups such as crumbs, cereal, etc.
• Use the standard scoop for smaller clean-ups such as spilled ketchup, mayonnaise, cooking oil, etc.
• Allow the spill to be contained within the attachment and not go into the spool as this will cause spills from the clean-up bag itself.
To order additional bags:
To order additional spools of bags, (item # XSB380) call customer service at 1 (800) 798-7398 or visit our website: www.sharkcompany.com.
