QUICK START GUIDE
GENERAL WARNINGS
1. Robotic vacuum cleaner consists of a
robotic vacuu m and chargin g dock with power supply. These components contain electric al connections, electrical wiring, and moving pa rts that potentially present risk to the user.
2. Before each u se, carefully inspect all parts for any damage. If a part is damaged, discontinue use.
3. Use only identical rep lacement pa rts.
4. This robotic vacuum cleaner contains no
serviceable parts.
5. Use only as described in this manual . DO NOT use the robotic vacuum cle aner
for any purpose other than those described in this manual.
6. With the exception of filters, DO NOT expose any par ts of the robotic vacuum cleaner to water or other liquids.

7. This appliance is not intended for use
by anyone (including children) with reduced physical, senso ry or menta l capabilities, or lack of experience an d knowledge , unless they have be en given supervision or instru ction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children sho uld be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
8. Always turn o the robotic vacuum cleaner before inserting or removing th e filter or dust b in.
9. DO NOT handle plug, charging dock or robotic vacuu m cleaner with wet h ands.
10. DO NOT use witho ut dust bin and filters in place.
11. Only use Shark® bran ded filters an d accessorie s. Failure to do so will void the warranty.
12. DO NOT damage the charging cord:
a) DO NOT pull or c arry charging dock
by the cord or use the cord as a handle.
b) DO NOT unplug by pulling on cord.
Grasp the plug, not the cord .
c) DO NOT close a do or on the cord,
pull the cord aro und sharp corners, or leave the cord near heated surfaces.
13. DO NOT put any objects into nozzle or accessory openings. DO NOT use with any opening b locked; keep free of dust, lint, hair, and any thing that may red uce air flow.
14. DO NOT use if roboti c vacuum cleaner airflow is restricted. If th e air paths become blo cked, turn the vacuum cleaner o and remove all obstructions before turn on the unit again .
15. Keep nozzle and all vacuum openin gs away from hair, face, fingers, uncovered feet, or loose clothing.
16. DO NOT use if robotic vacuum cleaner is not working as it should, or has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or dropped into water.
17. DO NOT place vacuum cleane r on unstable surfaces.

21. Allow all filters to air-dry completely before repla cing in the robotic vacuum cleaner to prevent liquid from being drawn into elec tric parts .
22. DO NOT modif y or attempt to repair the robotic vacuu m cleaner or th e battery yourself, except as indicated in this manual. DO NOT use the vacu um if it has been modified or damaged.
BAT TE RY US E
23. The battery is the power so urce for the vacuum. C arefully rea d and follow all charging instructions.
24. To prevent unintentional starting, ens ure the vacuum is powered o before picking up or carr ying the vacuum. DO NOT carry the appliance with your finger on the power switch .
25. Use O N LY the Shark® cha rging dock RVDOK850 and RVDOK850WV and battery RVBAT850. Use of batteries or battery chargers oth er than those indicated m ay create a risk of fire.
26. Keep the b attery away from all metal objects such as paper clips, coins , keys, nails, or screws. Shorting the batter y terminals tog ether increa ses the risk of fire or burns .
27. Under abusive conditions, liquids may be ejected from the battery. Avoid contact with this liquid, as it may cause irritation or burns. If contact occurs, flush with water. If liquid conta cts eyes, see k medical help.
28. Robotic vacuum cleaner should n ot be stored, cha rged, or used at temperatures below 50° F (10°C) or above 104°F (40°C). Ensure that th e battery an d vacuum have reached room temperature before charg ing or use. Exposing the battery to tem peratures outside of this range may dam age the battery and increase the risk of fire.
29. DO NOT expose the robotic vacuu m cleaner or battery to fire or temperatures above 265°F ( 130°C) as it m ay cause explosion.
If the ch arging ca ble plug d oes not fit fu lly into th e outlet , reverse th e plug. If i t still doe s not fit, contact a qualifi ed electrician. DO N OT force int o outlet or t ry to modify to fit .

POWER SU PPLY, CHARGING DOCK, AND VACUUM CONTAIN ELECTRI CAL CONNECTIONS:
• There are NO serviceable par ts.
DO NOT use to vacuum any liquids.
DO NOT immerse in water or other liquids.
• If vacuum is da maged, discontinue use .
• To avoid fire, explosion, or injury, inspect vacuum and charging dock for any damage before use. DO NOT use dam aged vacuum or charging dock.
DO NOT use outdoors or on wet sur faces. Use only on dr y surface s.
• If vacuum cle aner is not work ing as it should, o r has been dropped, dam aged, lef t outdoors , or immersed in water, return it to SharkNinja Operatin g LLC for examination , repair, or adjus tment.

GENERAL USE
DO NOT carr y the charger by the cord or yank to disconnect from an outlet; instead grasp the plu g and pull to disconnec t.
• Keep charge r cord away from heated surfaces.
• Use only as described in this manual.
• Keep your work are a well lit.
• To avoid unintentional sta rting, always tu rn o the vacuum cleaner befo re picking it up or carr ying it, and before attaching or detaching the charger, dust cup, filter, or any accessories.
DO NOT put any objects into openings.
DO NOT use if any op ening is bloc ked; keep free of dust, lint, hair, or anything that may reduce airflow.
DO NOT allow young children to ope rate the appliance or use as a toy. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used near ch ildren.
DO NOT use with out dust cup and filter in place.
DO NOT use if air flow is restric ted; if the air paths becom e blocked, turn o the vacuum cleaner. Clear all obstruc tions and power on again.

DUST CUP/FILTERS/ACCESSORIES
Before turning on the vacuum:
• Make sure filter is thoroughly dry after routine cleaning.
• Make sure dust cup and filter are i n place after routine maintenance.
• Make sure acces sories are fre e of blockages and keep ope nings away from face and body.
• Use only Sha rk® brand filters and accessorie s. Using othe r brands will void warranty.

LITHIUM-ION BATTERY
• The batter y is the power source for the appliance. DO NOT carry the appliance with your finger on the power button. DO NOT charge appliance with the power on.
• Use only the in cluded cha rging dock to charge. Use of incorrect c harger may create a risk of fire.
• Use appliance only with included lithium-ion battery. Use of a ny other batter y may create a risk of injur y and fire.
• Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery. Avoid contact with liquid, a s it may cause irritation or burns. If contact occurs, flush with wate r. If liquid contacts eyes, seek medical h elp.

Place the Charging Dock on a level s urface with i ts back agai nst a wall, in a s pace withou t obstructi ons, that can easil y be accesse d by your robot. Re move any objec ts that are clo ser than 3 fee t (1 meter) from e ither side of the do ck, or clos er than 5 feet ( 1.52 m eters) from the fro nt of the dock . Plug the Charging Adapter into a wall outl et. The doc k must be plug ged in conti nually for th e robot to find it. T he robot will b eep when it start s charging o n the dock.
The power mu st be ON in order to charg e the battery. Press the Powe r button on the si de of the robot .
If the robot h as no charg e and canno t return to the chargin g dock, pla ce it on the dock m anually.
When the cl eaning cycl e is complete , or if the batte ry is runnin g low, the robot will b egin to searc h for the dock . If the unit do esn’t retur n to the dock, th e batter y charge may have r un out.
The blue Cha rge Indicator Lights show how muc h charge is rem aining.

Prior to first use, the lithium-ion battery must be charged completely, even if it comes with a partial charge.
Place the Shark ION Handheld onto the charging dock with the air-intake nozzle in the cradle.
Plug the charging dock into a wall outlet.

MANUAL CLEANING MODE
To manually sta rt a clean ing cycle, pre ss the Clean button on th e robot or on th e mobile app . To stop the robot be fore it finish es cleanin g and automatically returns to the d ock, pres s the button ag ain.
INSTALLING THE SIDE BRUSHES
The 2 inclu ded side br ushes sna p onto the squar e pegs on the b ottom of the rob ot. Press br ushes down onto the p egs until they cl ick into place .
IM PORTA NT: Before cl eaning an entire ro om for the first time , we recommend that yo u first test your robo t on a small section o f the floor to ensure th ere is no scratching .
IM PORTA NT: Robot uses cli  sensors to avoid stai rs and other steep d rops. Sensors m ay work less eecti vely when they are dirt y. For best results , clean sensors re gularly.
TIP: To preserve ba ttery life, turn o  the power switch if robot will not be u sed for a long perio d of time.
