This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade
is wider than the other). As a safety feature, this
plug will fit into a polarized outlet only one way.

GENERAL USE:

16. Use only as described in this manual.

17. DO NOT put any objects into openings.

18. Keep your work area well lit.

19. Keep the vacuum moving over the carpet
surface at all times to avoid damaging the
carpet fibers.

20. DO NOT place vacuum on unstable surfaces
such as chairs or tables.

21. DO NOT allow young children to operate
the vacuum or use as a toy. Close attention
is necessary when used near children, pets or
plants.

22. DO NOT use vacuum cleaner if it has been
dropped, damaged, left outdoors or submerged
in water. To avoid the risk of electric shock,
do not disassemble or attempt to repair the
vacuum. Return to EURO-PRO Operating LLC
for examination, repair or adjustment. Incorrect
re-assembly can cause a risk of electric shock or
injury to persons when the vacuum is used.

DUST BAGS / FILTERS:

23. Before turning on the vacuum:

• Make sure that the filter and the dust bag,

are in place after routine maintenance.

• Make sure that all components and filters are

thoroughly dry after routine cleaning.

• Only use filters and accessories provided by

EURO-PRO Operating LLC [Failure to do so
will void the warranty].

GENERAL CLEANING:

24. DO NOT run the vacuum over large-sized

objects.

25. DO NOT pick up hard or sharp objects such as

glass, nails, screws or coins that could damage
the vacuum cleaner.

26. DO NOT pick up smoking or burning objects

such as hot coals, cigarette butts or matches.

27. DO NOT pick up flammable or combustible

materials such as lighter fluid, gasoline,
kerosene or use in areas where they may be
present.

28. DO NOT pick up toxic solutions such as

chlorine bleach, ammonia or drain cleaner.

29. DO NOT use in an enclosed space where

vapors are present from paint, paint thinner,
moth-proofing substances, flammable dust or
other explosive or toxic materials.

30. DO NOT vacuum up any liquids.

31. DO NOT immerse vacuum cleaner in water or

other liquids.

32. DO NOT use outdoors or on wet surfaces; use

only on dry surfaces.

33. Use extra care when cleaning on stairs.

34. Store your appliance indoors in a cool, dry area.

YOUR SHARK® QUICK CLEAN CANISTER IS EASY TO
ASSEMBLE

:

1 Place your vacuum canister on a level surface

DO NOT plug in the vacuum until it is fully assembled.

2 Insert the flexible hose (A) into the air intake duct. Push

it in until you hear it “click“, indicating that it is locked in
place. (Fig. 1)

3 Insert the upper extension tube (B) into the handle end of

the flexible hose. (Fig. 1).

4 Insert the lower extension tube (C) into the upper

extension tube. (Fig. 1)

5 Push the end of the extension tube into the floor

brush (D). (Fig. 1)

6 The combo crevice/dusting tool (E) is stored in the back of

the vacuum next to the power cord. (Fig. 1)

1 To extend the power cord, pull

it from the rear of the vacuum
to the desired length. (Fig. 2) A
yellow mark on the power cord
shows the ideal cable length.
CAUTION: Do not pull the
power cord beyond the red
mark on the power cord as this
will damage the cord.

2 To retract the power cord, press

the cord rewind button. (Fig. 3)
If the cord does not fully retract,
pull it out a little and then press
the rewind button again.
WARNING: Always hold the
plug and DO NOT allow to
whip when rewinding

3 Plug the vacuum into an

electrical wall outlet.

4 Press the On/Off Button to the

“On” position to begin.
(Fig. 4)

5 Press the On/Off Button to the

“Off” position when finished
using the vacuum.

6 To store the canister vacuum,

insert the clip that is on the
back of the floor brush into the
slot on the back of the vacuum.
(Fig. 5)

Manual Suction Control

The Shark® Quick Clean Canister
vacuum includes a manual variable
suction control on the handle of
the hose. The suction power can
be adjusted by moving the slide
regulator to the desired position.
(Fig. 6) By opening the slide
regulator, the suction will be
reduced for vacuuming upholstery
and draperies. With the slide
regulator closed, you get maximum
suction for vacuuming carpets.

Using the Accessories

Using the Combo Crevice/Dusting
Tool

:

The Combo Crevice/Dusting tool
can be attached to either one or
both extension tubes for greater
reach or directly onto the handle.

1 Remove the floor brush from

the lower extension tube and
then depending on the length
that you desire, just push it in to
the end of the extension tube or
the handle. (Fig. 7)

Using the Turbo Brush

:

The Turbo Brush can be attached to
either one or both extension tubes
for greater reach or directly onto
the handle.

that you desire, just push it in to
the end of the extension tube or
the handle. (Fig. 8)

Note: The efficiency of your Turbo
Brush depends on the bristle brush
rotating at high speed. Strong air
action is needed to accomplish this.
In order to ensure that maximum air
suction is maintained:

a Change the dust bag

frequently.

b Replace the filter as needed.
c Ensure that the rotating

brush is kept free of hair and
debris which may accumulate
and decrease brush
performance.

Cleaning the Turbo Brush

:

From time to time, the turbine
of your turbo brush will require
cleaning.

1 Remove the Turbo Brush from

the hose or extension tube.

2 Turn the Turbo Brush over and

open the hinged cover to access
the turbine wheel. (Fig. 9)

3 There may be dust, lint, hair, etc

on the turbine wheel. Remove
as much of this as possible. Use
the vacuum with the hose to
remove any additional debris
that may remain.

CAUTION:

To reduce the risk of shock, the
power cord must be disconnected
before removing or inserting the
dust bag.

Maintenance

Dust Bag Full Indicator:

The red dust bag full indicator may
turn on while you are vacuuming to
indicate that the dust bag is full and
needs to be replaced.

Replacing the Dust Bag:

1 Press the On/Off Button to the

“Off” position.

2 Remove the flexible hose from

the vacuum by squeezing the
locking tabs on the neck of the
hose and pulling it out. (Fig. 10)

3 Place your fingers underneath

the opening indentation behind
the vacuum handle and lift the
top cover up. (Fig. 11)

4 Hold the cardboard collar of the

dust bag and gently pull the
dust bag out. (Fig. 12)

5 Holding the cardboard collar,

insert a new dust bag into
the slots of the dust bag
compartment. (Fig. 13)

6 Close the top cover of the

vacuum.

Cleaning the Pre-Motor Filter:

1 Press the On/Off Button to the

“Off” position.

2 Open the top cover and pull the

pre-motor filter straight out.
(Fig. 14)

3 Wash the filter in lukewarm

water and allow to air dry
completely for 24 hours.

4 Slide a dry pre-motor into

position between the two posts
and the motor intake.

To Reset the Motor Thermostat:

Your Shark® Quick Clean Canister
vacuum is equipped with a protective
Motor Thermostat. If the motor
should overheat, the thermostat
shuts off the power.

1 Press the Power Button to turn

the unit “Off”.

2 Unplug the vacuum.
3 Check for clogged hose or filter;

unclog hose and replace filter.

4 Wait 45 minutes for vacuum to

cool; then plug in the vacuum.

5 Press the Power Switch to start

the vacuum.

Note: If vacuum still does not start,
contact Customer Service at:

PROBLEM POSSIBLE REASONS & SOLUTIONS

Vacuum will not run.

Check to see if the vacuum is plugged in properly.
Check the circuit breaker/fuse.
Check the On/Off button.

EURO-PRO Operating LLC warrants this product to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a
period of one (1) year from the date of the original purchase, when utilized for normal household use, subject to the
following conditions, exclusions and exceptions.

replacement are specifically excluded from warranty.

The liability of EURO-PRO Operating LLC is limited solely to the cost of the repair or replacement of the unit
at our option. This warranty does not cover normal wear of parts and does not apply to any unit that has been
tampered with or used for commercial purposes. This limited warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse,
abuse, negligent handling or damage due to faulty packaging or mishandling in transit. This warranty does not cover
damage or defects caused by or resulting from damages from shipping or repairs, service or alterations to the product

This warranty is extended to the original purchaser of the unit and excludes all other legal and/or conventional

or consequential damages of any nature whatsoever. Some states do not permit the exclusion or limitation of
incidental or consequential damages, so the above may not apply to you.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state or

1 Placez le traîneau de votre aspirateur sur une surface

plane

NE BRANCHEZ PAS l’aspirateur tant que celui-ci n’est

pas entièrement assemblé.

2 Insérez le boyau flexible (A) dans la conduite d’entrée

d’air. Poussez jusqu’à ce que vous entendiez un déclic
indiquant qu’il est bien inséré. (Fig. 1)

3 Insérez le tube de rallonge supérieur (B) à l’intérieur du

manche du boyau flexible. (Fig. 1).

4 Insérez le tube de rallonge inférieur (C) à l’intérieur du

tube de rallonge supérieur. (Fig. 1)

5 Poussez l’extrémité du tube de rallonge à l’intérieur de la

brosse à plancher (D). (Fig. 1)

6 Le combo suceur plat/brosse d’époussetage (E) est rangé

à l’arrière de l’aspirateur, près du cordon d’alimentation.
(Fig. 1)

1 Pour dérouler le cordon

d’alimentation, tirez-le à partir
de l’arrière de l’aspirateur à la
longueur désirée. (Fig. 2) La
marque jaune sur le cordon
d’alimentation indique la
longueur idéale du câble.
MISE EN GARDE: NE
TIREZ PAS sur le cordon
d’alimentation plus loin que
la marque rouge puisque cela
pourrait l’endommager.

2 Pour rembobiner le cordon

d’alimentation, appuyez sur le
bouton de rembobinage.

3 Branchez l’aspirateur dans une

prise de courant murale.

4 Poussez le bouton

d’alimentation marche/arrêt
(on/off) à la position « marche
» pour débuter. (Fig. 4)

5 Poussez le bouton

d’alimentation marche/arrêt
(on/off) à la position « arrêt »
pour l’éteindre.

6 Pour ranger l’aspirateur-

traîneau, insérez l’agrafe qui se
trouve à l’arrière de la brosse à
plancher dans la fente située à
l’arrière de l’aspirateur. (Fig. 5)

Contrôle d’aspiration manuelle

L’aspirateur-traîneau de SharkMD
pour nettoyage rapide comprend
un contrôle manuel d’aspiration sur
la poignée du boyau. Ce contrôle
manuel d’aspiration peut être
ajusté en glissant le régulateur à la
position désirée. (Fig. 6) En ouvrant
le régulateur glissant, l’aspiration
sera réduite pour passer l’aspirateur
sur des meubles rembourrés et des
rideaux. Avec le régulateur glissant
fermé, vous obtenez le maximum
d’aspiration pour passer l’aspirateur
sur le tapis.

Utilisation des accessoires

Utilisation du combo suceur plat/
brosse d’époussetage

:

Le combo suceur plat/brosse
d’époussetage peut être installé
à un ou deux tubes de rallonge
pour une plus grande portée ou
directement sur la poignée.

1 Enlevez la brosse à plancher

du tube de rallonge inférieur
et ensuite, en fonction de la
longueur que vous désirez,
vous n’avez qu’à la pousser à
l’intérieur du tube de rallonge
ou de la poignée. (Fig. 7)

Utilisation de la brosse turbo

:

La brosse turbo peut être installée
à un ou deux tubes de rallonge
pour une plus grande portée ou
directement sur la poignée.

1 Enlevez la brosse à plancher

du tube de rallonge inférieur
et ensuite, en fonction de la
longueur que vous désirez,
vous n’avez qu’à la pousser à
l’intérieur du tube de rallonge
ou de la poignée. (Fig. 8)

Remarque : l’efficacité de votre
brosse turbo dépend de la rotation
à haute vitesse de la brosse de
soie. Une forte aspiration d’air est
nécessaire pour l’accomplir. Afin
d’assurer qu’une aspiration d’air
maximum soit maintenue :

a Changez le sac à poussière

fréquemment.

b Remplacez le filtre au

besoin.

c Assurez-vous que la brosse

rotative est exempte de
cheveux et de fils qui peuvent
s’accumuler et réduire
l’efficacité de la brosse

Nettoyage de la brosse turbo

:

De temps en temps, la turbine
de votre brosse turbo devra être
nettoyée.

1 Enlevez la brosse turbo du

boyau ou du tube de rallonge.

2 Tournez la brosse turbo sur le

côté et ouvrez le couvercle pour
accéder à la roue de la turbine.
(Fig. 9)

3 Il peut y avoir de la poussière,

de la peluche, des cheveux,
etc. sur la roue de la turbine.
En enlevez-en le plus possible.
Utilisez l’aspirateur avec le
boyau pour enlever les débris
qui peuvent être demeurés sur
la roue de la turbine.

Entretien

Lumière indicatrice du sac à
poussière :

L’indicateur rouge du sac à
poussière peut s’allumer lorsque
vous êtes en train de nettoyer pour
vous indiquer que le sac est plein et
qu’il doit être vidé ou changé.

Remplacement du sac à
poussière :

1 Poussez le bouton

d’alimentation marche/arrêt à la
position « arrêt ».

2 Enlevez le boyau flexible de

l’aspirateur en pressant les
onglets de verrouillage situés
sur le cou du boyau et tirez-le.
(Fig. 10)

3 Placez vos doigts sous

l’ouverture d’indentation
située à l’arrière de la poignée
de l’aspirateur et soulevez le
couvercle supérieur. (Fig. 11)

4 Tenez le collet en carton du sac à

poussière et tirez-le doucement
pour le sortir. (Fig. 12)

5 En tenant le collet en carton,

installez un nouveau sac à
poussière à l’intérieur des fentes
du compartiment . (Fig. 13)

6 Refermez le couvercle de

l’aspirateur.

Nettoyage du filtre pré-moteur :

1 Poussez le bouton

d’alimentation marche/arrêt à la
position « arrêt ».

2 Ouvrez le couvercle supérieur et

retirez le filtre pré-moteur.

3 Rincez le filtre avec de l’eau

tiède et laissez-le sécher à l’air
libre complètement pendant 24
heures.

4 Glissez le filtre pré-moteur

propre en position entre les
deux montants et l’entrée du
moteur.

Réinitialisation du thermostat
du moteur :

Votre aspirateur-traîneau SharkMD
pour nettoyage rapide est pourvu
d’un thermostat de protection du
moteur. Si le moteur venait qu’à
surchauffer, le thermostat coupe
l’alimentation

1 Appuyez sur le bouton

d’alimentation pour mettre
l’appareil à « arrêt ».

2 Débranchez l’aspirateur.
3 Vérifiez si le boyau ou le filtre

est bouché, débouchez le boyau
et replacez le filtre.

4 Veuillez attendre 45 minutes

afin de laisser l’aspirateur se
refroidir; puis branchez-le.

5 Appuyez sur le bouton

d’alimentation pour mettre en
marche l’aspirateur.

Remarque : si l’aspirateur ne démarre
