The labels come with a label ID (which is a unique identifier – just like a MAC address) and this label ID as a
barcode on the display (and printed on the back of the label).

The label ID consists of 8 hexadecimal digits (0-9 / A-F). The first 2 digits identify the different label types,
shown on the following table:
