Subject: Flex Manifold Replacement Kits
SCOPE
Manitowoc Beverage Systems has substantially improved the Flexible
Manifolds used on beverage dispensers. These improvements will
provide greater reliability against breakage and leaks which may have
occured on the previous version of this part.
IMPROVEMENTS
1. The new manifold is 1/8" (.3175 cm) thicker than the previous
version.
(See Figure 1)
2. The new manifold has additional material at the corners to reduce
breakage caused by over torquing of mounting screws.
(See Figure 2)
3. The new manifold has taller internal ribs for more stif fness and
stress points have been identified and eliminated to reduce cracking
potential. (See Figure 3)

RECOMMENDATION
Manitowoc Beverage Systems strongly recommends using kits as
opposed to just using the manifold since new “O” rings and inst allation
instructions are included in kits. Read the instructions carefully before
installing the kit components. (Flex Manifold kit parts lists are on the
next page.) Essentially , new eq uipment only needs the ge neric 4 or 5
port manifold kits, therefore you may not need every kit available.
Before the serial number below , use comp lete kit. Af ter the serial
number below , only the 4 or 5 port generic kit is necessary.
