Esfera Surround-Mikrofonsystem

Esfera ist ein Surround-Mikrofonsystem, das schnell aufgebaut und vollkommen unkompli­ziert zu bedienen ist. Es besteht aus dem Stereomikrofon SPM 8000 – komplett mit Korb,
Windschutzfell, Griff und Kabel – und der Basiseinheit SPB 8000, die die Signale der Mikro­fone in ein vollständiges 5.1-Audiosignal wandelt. Mit Esfera kann ohne großen Mikrofonie­rungsaufwand ein HD-Audiosignal erzeugt werden.

Das Stereomikrofon SPM 8000

Zwei Hochfrequenz-Kondensatorkapseln in XY-Anordnung bilden das Herz des Stereomik­rofons SPM 8000. Zusammen mit der Basiseinheit SPB 8000 kann mit diesen beiden Mikro­fonen ein vollständiger 5.1 Surround-Sound erzeugt werden. Das Mikrofon wird komplett
mit Korb, Griff, Windschutzfell und Stereokabel (XLR-5 auf 2 x XLR-3) ausgeliefert.

Das SPM 8000 wird mit einer Transportsicherung ausgeliefert.

왘 Lösen Sie die Transportsicherung, bevor Sie das SPM 8000 in Betrieb nehmen (siehe

Abbildung).

Windschutz lösen und befestigen

Der Windschutz verändert den Klang nur minimal, dämpft in Kombination mit dem
Fellwindschutz Windgeräusche jedoch um ca. 30 dB.

Um den Windschutz zu lösen:

왘 Entfernen Sie den Fellwindschutz 6, indem Sie die Druckknöpfe an der Unterseite öff-

nen und den Windschutz abziehen.

왘 Schrauben Sie den hinteren Korb 8 des Windschutzes gegen den Uhrzeigersinn ab.
왘 Lösen Sie den Fixierungshebel 2, indem Sie ihn nach unten klappen.
왘 Ziehen Sie den vorderen Korb 7 des Windschutzes nach vorne von der Mikrofonhalte-

rung.

Um den Windschutz zu befestigen:

왘 Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Mikrofonkabel korrekt geführt ist (siehe Abbildung auf

Seite3).

왘 Schieben Sie den vorderen Korb 7 des Windschutzes von vorne auf die Mikrofonhalte-

rung.

왘 Schrauben Sie den hinteren Korb 8 des Windschutzes im Uhrzeigersinn auf den vorde-

ren Korb des Windschutzes.

왘 Klappen Sie den Fixierungshebel 2 nach oben, um den Windschutz zu fixieren.
왘 Befestigen Sie den Fellwindschutz 6, indem Sie ihn über den Windschutzkorb stülpen

und die Druckknöpfe an der Unterseite schließen.

왘 Lösen Sie den Fixierungshebel 3, stellen Sie den gewünschten Winkel ein und schließen

Sie den Fixierungshebel 3 wieder.

SPM 8000 an SPB 8000/an Audiogeräte anschließen

Anschlussdaten des SPM 8000:

• Phantomspeisung 48 V ±4 V (P48, IEC 61938)

• XLR-5-Stecker oder

• 2 XLR-3-Stecker über Y-Adapterkabel

Um das SPM 8000 an eine Kamera/ein Audiogerät mit XLR-5-Eingang anzuschließen:

왘 Verbinden Sie den XLR-5-Stecker 4 des SPM 8000 mit der Kamera oder dem Audiogerät.

Um das SPM 8000 an die Zentraleinheit SPB 8000 oder ein Audiogerät mit 2 analogen XLR-

3-Eingängen anzuschließen:

왘 Verbinden Sie den XLR-5-Stecker 4 des SPM 8000 mit dem Y-Adapterkabel 5 (Liefer-

umfang).

왘 Verbinden Sie die beiden XLR-3-Stecker des Y-Adapterkabels 5 (rot = rechts, gelb =

links) mit den Eingängen der Zentraleinheit SPB 8000 oder des Audiogeräts. Die Ein­gänge der Zentraleinheit sind ebenfalls rot und gelb markiert.

SPM 8000 reinigen und pflegen

Wenn Sie das SPM 8000 digital nutzen wollen, verwenden Sie einen A/D-Wandler.

Produktschäden durch Flüssigkeit!

Flüssigkeit kann die Elektronik des Produkts zerstören! Sie kann in das Produkt eindringen
und einen Kurzschluss in der Elektronik verursachen.

왘 Halten Sie Flüssigkeiten jeglicher Art vom Produkt fern.
왘 Verwenden Sie auf keinen Fall Löse- oder Reinigungsmittel.

왘 Trennen Sie das Produkt von mit dem Stromnetz verbundenen Audiogeräten, bevor Sie

mit der Reinigung beginnen.

왘 Reinigen Sie das Produkt ausschließlich mit einem weichen, leicht feuchten Tuch.

Windschutz reinigen

왘 Lösen Sie den Windschutz wie auf Seite 4 beschrieben.
왘 Reinigen Sie den Windschutz mit einem leicht feuchten Tuch von innen und außen oder

verwenden Sie eine Bürste und spülen Sie mit klarem Wasser nach.

왘 Trocknen Sie den Windschutz.
왘 Befestigen Sie den Windschutz wieder, wie auf Seite 5 beschrieben.

The Esfera surround microphone system

Esfera is a surround microphone system which is easy to install and very easy to use. Esfera
provides 5.1 surround sound from just two channels, making complicated surround mic
installations a thing of the past. The system consists of the SPM 8000 stereo microphone –
supplied complete with basket windshield, suspension with pistol grip, “hairy” cover and
cable – and the SPB 8000 central unit that converts the signals of the microphones into a
complete 5.1 audio signal.

The SPM 8000 stereo microphone

Two RF condenser microphone capsules in XY configuration are at the core of the SPM 8000
stereo microphone. When used in conjunction with the SPB 8000 central units, the wo micro­phones can create a complete 5.1-channel surround sound effect. The microphone is sup­plied complete with basket windshield, suspension with pistol grip, “hairy” cover and stereo
cable (XLR-5 to 2x XLR-3).

• Can be used as a high-quality stereo microphone or – with the SPB 8000 – as a compact

5.1 microphone

The SPM 8000 is shipped with a transport safety device.

왘 Loosen the transport safety device before putting the SPM 8000 into operation (see

diagram).

Removing and attaching the windshield

The windshield changes the sound only slightly, but – in combination with the “hairy
cover” – attenuates wind noise by approx. 30 dB.

Putting the SPM 8000 into operation

To remove the basket windshield:

왘 Remove the “hairy” cover 6 by unfastening its snap fasteners and pulling it away from

the windshield.

왘 Unscrew the rear part 8 of the windshield by turning it counter-clockwise.
왘 Loosen the locking lever 2 by pushing it down.
왘 Remove the front part 7 of the windshield by pulling it away from the suspension/pis-

tol grip.

To attach the basket windshield:

왘 Make sure that the microphone cable is guided correctly (see diagram on page 3).
왘 Slide the front part 7 of the windshield over the shock-mount.
왘 Screw the rear part 8 of the windshield to the front part of the windshield by turning it

clock-wise.

왘 Lock the windshield by pushing the locking lever 2 up.
왘 Replace the “hairy” cover 6 by sliding it over the basket windshield and fastening its

snap fasteners.

Inclining the SPM 8000

왘 Loosen the locking lever 3, adjust the desired angle and tighten the locking lever 3

again.

Connecting the SPM 8000 to the SPB 8000/to audio devices

Connection data of the SPM 8000:

• 48 V ±4 V phantom power (P48, IEC 61938)

• XLR-5 connector or

• 2x XLR-3 connector via Y-adapter cable

To connect the SPM 8000 to a camera/audio device with XLR-5 input:

왘 Connect the XLR-5 connector 4 of the SPM 8000 to the camera or audio device.

To connect the SPM 8000 to the SPB 8000 central unit or to an audio device with 2 analog

XLR-3 inputs:

왘 Connect the XLR-5 connector 4 of the SPM 8000 to the Y-adapter cable 5 (supplied).
왘 Connect the two XLR-3 connectors of the Y-adapter cable 5 (red = right channel, yellow

= left channel) to the inputs of the SPB 8000 central unit or of the audio device.
The inputs of the central unit are also marked red and yellow.

If you want to use the SPM 8000 digitally, you have to use an A/D converter.

CAUTION

Damage to the product due to liquids!

Liquids can damage the electronics of the product!
Liquids entering the product can cause a short-circuit and damage the electronics.

왘 Keep all liquids away from the product.
왘 Do not use any cleansing agents or solvents.

왘 Before cleaning, disconnect the product from audio devices connected to the mains

power supply.

왘 Only use a soft, slightly damp cloth to clean the product.

Cleaning the basket windshield

왘 Remove the windshield as described on page 4.
왘 Use a slightly damp cloth to clean the windshield from the inside and outside or scrub

with a brush and rinse with clear water.

왘 Dry the windshield.
왘 Attach the windshield as described on page 4.

Système de microphones surround Esfera

Le système de microphones surround Esfera est rapide à installer et simple à utiliser. Le sys­tème se compose du microphone stéréo SPM 8000 – livré avec bonnette anti-vent armée,
suspension élastique, enveloppe anti-vent et câble – et de l‘unité centrale SPB 8000, qui
convertit les signaux des microphones en un signal audio 5.1 canaux. Le système Esfera per­met de créer un signal audio HD sans gros travail de prise de son.

Microphone stéréo SPM 8000

Les deux capsules de microphones électrostatique hautes fréquences en configuration XY
constituent le cœur du microphone stéréo SPM 8000. Lorsqu‘ils sont utilisés conjointement

Le SPM 8000 est livré avec un dispositif de sécurité de transport.

왘 Défaites le dispositif de sécurité de transport avant de la mise en service du SPM 8000

(voir l‘illustration).

Enlever et fixer la bonnette anti-vent

La bonnette anti-vent modifie le son dans une mesure négligeable toute en atté­nuant les bruits de vent d’environ. 30 dB.

Mise en service du SPM 8000

Pour défaire la bonnette anti-vent armée :

왘 Enlevez l‘enveloppe anti-vent 6 en ouvrant les boutons-pression et tirez-la, en l‘éloi-

gnant de la bonnette anti-vent.

왘 Dévissez la partie arrière 8 de la bonnette anti-vent en la tournant dans le sens inverse

des aiguilles d‘une montre.

왘 Desserrez le levier de fixation 2 en le poussant vers le bas.
왘 Tirez la grille avant 7 de la bonnette anti-vent en l‘éloignant de la suspension élastique.

Pour fixer la bonnette anti-vent armée :

왘 Veillez á ce que le câble microphone soit correctement guidé (voir l‘illustration ci-des-

sus).

왘 Glissez la grille avant 7 de la bonnette anti-vent sur la suspension élastique.
왘 Vissez la grille arrière 8 de la bonnette anti-vent sur la grille avant en la tournant dans

le sens des aiguilles d‘une montre.

왘 Verrouillez la bonnette anti-vent en poussant le levier de fixation 2 vers le haut.
왘 Remettez en place l‘enveloppe anti-vent 6 tout autour de la bonnette anti-vent et fer-

mez les boutons-pression.

Incliner le SPM 8000

왘 Desserrez le levier de fixation 3, ajustez l‘angle souhaité et fermez le levier de

fixation 3.

Raccorder le SPM 8000 à la SPB 8000/des appareils audio

Données du raccordement du SPM 8000 :

• Alimentation fantôme 48 V ±4 V (P48, IEC 61938)

• Connecteur XLR-5 ou

• 2x connecteur XLR-3 via le câble adaptateur Y

Pour raccorder le SPM 8000 à une caméra/un appareil audio disposant d‘une entrée XLR-5 :

왘 Raccordez le connecteur XLR-5 4 du SPM 8000 à la caméra ou à l‘appareil audio.

Pour raccorder le SPM 8000 à l‘unité centrale SPB 8000 ou à un appareil audio disposant de
deux entrées analogiques XLR-3 :

왘 Raccordez le connecteur XLR-5 4 du SPM 8000 au câble adaptateur Y 5 (fourni).
왘 Raccordez les deux connecteurs XLR-3 du câble adaptateur Y 5 (rouge = canal droit,

jaune = canal gauche) aux entrées de l‘unité centrale SPB 8000 ou de l‘appareil audio.
Les entrée de l‘unité centrale sont également marquées en rouge et jaune.

Si vous souhaitez utiliser numériquement le SPM 8000, utilisez un convertisseur A/D.

Dommages au produit dus aux liquides !

Les liquides peuvent endommager les composants électroniques du produit !
Une infiltration de liquide dans le boîtier du produit peut causer des courts-circuits et

endommager les composants électroniques.

왘 Éloignez tout type de liquide du produit.
왘 N’utilisez jamais de solvant ou de détergent.

왘 Avant le nettoyage, débranchez le produit des appareils audio qui sont raccordés au

secteur.

왘 Ne nettoyez le produit qu’à l’aide d’un chiffon doux et légèrement humide.

Nettoyer la bonnette anti-vent

왘 Dévissez et enlevez la bonnette anti-vent comme décrit en page 4.
왘 Nettoyez l’intérieur et l’extérieur de la bonnette anti-vent à l’aide d’un chiffon légère-

ment humide ou nettoyez la la bonnette anti-vent avec une brosse et rincez-la à l’eau
claire.

왘 Séchez la bonnette anti-vent.
왘 Fixez de nouveau la bonnette anti-vent comme décrit en page 5.
