HOW TO CHARGE AND START THE WATCH

When you start the watch or when the energy in the rec hargeable batter y is
reduced to an extremely low level, charge it suf ficientl y by exp osing the wa tch
to light .

Instant-start function:
When the watch is exposed to sunlight or strong ar tificial light (of mor e than
1,000 lux ), it will s tar t operating immediately wi th the second hand mov ing at
2-second in tervals.

* When the watch has stopped operating, the second
hand will start moving at 2-second intervals.
2 Keep the watch exp osed to the light until the
seco nd hand moves at 1- sec ond intervals.

compl etel y stop pe d, set the da te and time
before wearing the watch.

NOTES:
1 If your watch has a second hand, when the instant-start function is activated after
the watch is exposed to light, the second hand starts moving at 2-second intervals
immediately, but the energy stored in the rechargeable battery is not sufficient. If
the watch is turned away from the lig ht, it may stop operating.
2 It is not necessary to charge the watch fully. It is important, however, to charge
the watch sufficiently, especially in case of initial charge.
Caution for charging

temper at ure will become extre mely high, causing damage to the part s
inside the wat ch.

When exposing the watch to sunlight to charge it, d o not leave it on the
dashb oard of a c ar, etc. for a long time, as the watch temperature becomes
extr emely high.

exceed 50 °C. (For C al. V110, V145, V181 and V18 2)
