Architectural Specifications
A. The SAM2 Shear Aligning Magnalock shall be produced by an ISO 9001 certified
manufacturer.
B. The lock shall be of the self aligning magnetic shear type suitable for mortise
mounting.
C. The lock shall be “voltage specific” (SAM2-24 = 24VDC).
D. The power requirements of the lock shall not exceed 1 1/2 Watts (62mA @
24VDC).
E. The lock shall be self contained with no external circuit board and will self align
into the locked position when the door closes without the need for door position
sensing or timers.
F. The lock shall not be position sensitive: it may be mounted at the top or side of
the door and will operate on single or double acting doors.
G. The LOCK shall be fully sealed in resin to make it tamper proof.
