2.x MAGNETIC LOCKS
A. All electromagnetic she
Corp., Sparks, NV, an ISO 9001 certified manufacturer.
B. Lock shall be of the self aligning magnetic shear type suitable for mortise mounting.
C. Locks shall be capable of providing a shear or tensile holding force of at least 1,200
pounds. A laboratory test certifying the minimum holding force shall be submitted
by the manufacturer upon request.
D. Electromagnetic locks shall have a lifetime replacement warranty.
E. Locks shall be dual voltage with no field adjustment necessary to select voltage.
F. Locks shall not consume more than four (4W) watts of power (320mA @ 12VDC) and
(170mA @ 24VDC).
G. Locks shall not exceed 15 cubic inches (9 inches x 1.5 inches x 1.1 inches) in size.
H. Locks shall be fully sealed in resin to provide tamper and weather proofing.
I. The lock shall be self contained with no external circuit board and will self align into
the locked position when he door closes without the need for door position sensing or
timers.
J. The lock shall not be position sensitive: it may be mounted at the tip or side of the
door and will operate on single or double acting doors.
K. Ten feet of jacketed stranded conductor shall be provided for electrical connection.
